Ordered over the phone and went to pick up our food, only to find that an item was missing. We let the hostess know what we... ordered, where she proceeded to say “mm, no you didn’t” with attitude, as she was the one who took our order over thephone. We asked if they could make it for us as we needed it, and she proceeded to go back into the kitchen (where we couldstill see and hear her) and told the cooks “this guy thinks he ordered a pizza over the phone but he didn’t. Now he’sasking if he can add it to his order”, and continued to give us dirty looks while we waited. We have never had such poorcustomer service at this restaurant. My wife and 3 kids 7,4,1 came in at 5 today. It took over an hour to get our food after ordering 3 kids meals , chicken parm and... a Boston sandwich and it came out cold. At around 645 I asked the manager (I’m assuming) for our kids dessert and I was toldto hold on she was in the middle of something she will be back never came back we finally got dessert and the bill at this timeit was 7pm. So sad to watch the "manager" talking down and using intimidation tactics on an employees first shift over booking time off.... Then gossiping with other employees when she walked away about her! Just a horrible attitude and atmosphere walking in with howthe manager greeted us on top of it all. Our waitress was wonderful but will not be returning because employees should NEVER betreated as such. Absolutely disgusting! We couldn't even eat our food. The labor board needs to be involved ASAP! Haven't been to Boston Pizza in years. My family and I decided to swing by after a day trip at Elora Gorge. The staff are... incredibly friendly and personable. They checked up on us very frequently to see if we were okay or needed anything. Food wasmade quickly, and we were quickly seated when we arrived at the restaurant. Would recommend this location. Slow service, vegetables were not fresh, garlic bread was dry, it just was an underwhelming meal. Update: (June 26 2019) - I... think this it's the last time we come here. We came for our 5 year old birthday (Family of 5), and meals sat at the serving barfor more than 10 minutes after been ready to serve (was able to see them from my table), my daughter was very excited for thebirthday song, we ask if they can sing and we got a, we are low in staff we won't sing. For Management, keep an eye on yourstaff, be more attentive, and I hope you don't loose more customers, good luck. Read more
We just had "dinner" here tonight and it was awful. We have been here before and know the service is slow but the food is... usually pretty good. Not tonight! My husband ordered Jambalaya. Server came back after the order to tell him they were out offettuccine noodles, could he sub for something else. Sure. Then she came back and let him know they were out of shrimp could hesub more chicken and sausage. Sure. Not great but whatever. My daughter order oven roasted salt and pepper chicken wings andshe received honey garlic. When we told the server the mistake she actually made it seem like she should eat those instead. Whenshe brought them back out literally less than 3 mins later we could tell that they had be rinsed off, some salt and pepper addedand reheated. You could still taste the honey garlic. Daughter ate 1 and my husband ate 1. Gross. I had the tropical chickenpizza and it was overloaded with Alfredo sauce (you can see a big goop in the pic) it also has buffalo hot sauce on it, whichit's not supposed to (which you can also see in the pic). We had already has the issue with my daughters wings so I didn't wantto complain and have them scrap of my pizza and re-top it. I tried to eat it but it was pretty disgusting. Overall a totalwaste of $100. Half of a pasta meal, 2 chicken wings and 3 little slices of pizza as it was an individual. Hey at least theydidn't screw up the drinks...oh wait, they did! Went last night first time in awhile took my kids out and now I know why . Definitely not like when it first opened. Food was... terrible wasn't even what menu said ordered a thai wrap which came with half strip per wrap missing ingredients. Can't believe Ipaid 70 bucks for the meal we got terrible.
