We ate here on our trip to Fernandina in 2022. I am not a fan of Italian food but I was surprised! The environment was nice. ... The Italian owner met us at the door and seated us. The wait staff never let a cup go dry or the garlic bread basket go empty. They were knowledgeable of the menu, what was in it, how it was made. The food was delicious but not too rich. We ordered thefried mozzarella for an appetizer. It came with a pesto aioli that was good on everything. They also serve bottomless garlicbread. We tried the fettuccini alfredo, chicken parm, Cappelli de Angelo, and chicken marsela. It was all delicious but notover powering. The portions were generous. They do have wine and alcohol, but we do not drink. We spent about $120 for 4people with a tip so it is a little more higher end. We would go back on our next trip. Read more

Overall experience was lovely. They seemed understaffed and some of the food didn't quite hit the mark. Recommend the fried... mozzarella and lobster ravioli. Skip the meatballs. Service: the owner and waiter were very friendly. I could tell the waiterwas way in over his head. At times he was walking away as I was trying to talk to him. He was super friendly, but it was obvioushe was just too busy. Need more staff members to allow them to spend ample time with the customers. Just seemed rushed attimes. The atmosphere was lovely. Given the higher prices and more elegant vibe, I think the chairs could use a revamp. Thefood was generally delicious. The timing was perfect (thank you waiter) and most of the food was delicous. I was shocked by themeatballs. For an Italian place, the meatballs were very under seasoned and over cooked. I will not get them again. Was alsodisappointed to not see kids options. I got spaghetti and a meatball for toddler and it was $15. That's pretty hefty for atoddler. I was expecting half that. Will return, but will probably not come often. Read more

Celebrated a birthday on Friday evening. Made reservations as the restaurant was busy, for good reasons. Service was 5 star and... the food was terrific! We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer and several different meals. The veal cutlets and pasta with aslight lemon glaze was very delicious! The owner made frequent rounds to the table and was very friendly ???? Read more

I had a delicious Bolognese. The touch of cream in the sauce gave it such a perfect balance. The restaurant itself is pretty and... the service was excellent. I highly recommend making a reservation as this place fills up fast in the early evening Read more

We had Christmas Eve dinner here. We did not have a reservation and sat in the bar area. The atmosphere was airy and light. The... wait staff was as attentive as they could be on a busy night. We had the meatball duo and the fried mozzarella was delicious. For dinner we had the chicken parmesan and the braised boneless short ribs. The food and food temperature was on point. Thesauce for the braised beef short ribs was a little red wine heavy, other than that, we had no complaints. We rated the place atfour stars as the hostess seated other people that came in after us and didn't bother asking or looking to see who's next. Read more

The lobster ravioli was delicious, however my husband did not like his rigatoni as much. The seafood seemed it had been cooked... separately from the sauce and the pasta. He felt that the scallops and had no seasoning of it's own. Read more
