The beer here was great, I tried the hazy pale ale last. The space was also very open and comfortable to be in. Was a good place... to hang out Read more

Updated review: 6-29-22\nOk Fringe... Fringe ok.. something has changed! You finally figured out how to fix the off flavors... that have plagued your beers since you opened! I have been here four different times since my original negative experienceyears ago hoping the beer would be better, and until my visit last week the buttery oxidized phenolic flavors persisted in everybeer I tasted here. Keep in mind my wife ordered a different beer than me each time, so each visit was a chance to try twodifferent beers. Every time every beer was obviously \"off\" in both aroma and flavor, no ifs and or buts. Anyone who has everjudged beer in a competition or has any flavor threshold for diacetyl would agree with me.\n\nUntil last week... Zappa Cometchanged my mind. The flavors were clean!! So I tried a Hazy Luna... Clean! Gray Muzzle... Clean! Jam... Well, it\'s stillkind of buttery, but that\'s ok because there are several other beers here that I can now drink without making a stink face! Thank God somebody here figured out the problem! Maybe the plate heat exchanger wasn\'t being sanitized properly, maybe thebeer was being racked off the yeast too early, maybe the tap lines weren\'t being cleaned often enough, I don\'t know. Anyway,it took three years but in my eyes (and palate) you\'ve jumped from a one star brewery to a four star brewery! Thank you forworking to improve, now I can say with certainty, I will be back!!\n\nOriginal review: Wow, I am losing faith in the palates ofmy Ferndale brethren. This place is packed right now, but both beers we just had are quite terrible. We had The Jam and HopWoo and both were clearly (to me) infected. The Jam was full of phenolic (band aid and smoke) aroma and flavor. Very hard todrink. The Hop Woo was a butter bomb. It literally smelled and tasted like someone pumped a squirt of artificial butter intoit like it was a bucket of movie popcorn. Last time we were here the Pale ale had the same issue. Do Read more

A great place for Pacific Northwest beers and puts Ferndale (near Bellingham) on the brewery tour map! I love the porter but... hear that the IPAs are popular and the Pilsner is great as well. A couple weeks ago I had a blue beer - just for fun - not myfavorite. It was crowded last night on a Thursday evening both inside and outside. A great food truck was there with fresh cutFrench fries and great burgers and fish and chips. the two owners were serving and they enjoy their craft and serving and knowbeer! Ask them why it is spelled \"FrinGe\". They have come a long way in a short time. Great place to meet up with friendsand family. Dog friendly also! Read more

Ignore the pompous presumption from the self-proclaimed beer experts. Fringe serves up a good beer and the space is a needed... escape in Ferndale. Love it like it deserves to be loved. Read more
