Great food! We tried the ham & brie and veggie sandwiches. The bread was fantastic. They aren?t serving at the lighthouse in... 2022 but the pickup was seamless and there were spots on the way to the lighthouse or at the lighthouse grounds to eat. WishingI could get a lunch like this regularly! Read more

Very disappointed. Picked up our lunch in a parking lot. Sandwiches and dessert were good. Tried to see the lighthouse. Road... was open halfway by car. Came to a gated barrier and sign that read Lighthouse closed. It was a 3 hour waste of time. Read more

A definite Must Do!! Our host had been before and promised us a unique experience. Spectacular scenery as we had a sunny clear... day. Be prepared for the walk on gravel getting from the parking up to the lighthouse. (although there is a shuttle atv ifneeded. One of our crew used it to get back and tipped accordingly) We were treated to whales and ocean sunfish as we dinedoverlooking the Atlantic. Look up ocean sunfish if you've never heard of it before. I hadn't. Weird looking creature. It was funto watch the whale appear over and over again. We made use of one of the benches and had brought a blanket to sit on too. I hadthe curry chicken sandwich on oat bread. That bread took me back to my grandmothers baking. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed theirindividual lunches that was brought out to us by one of the staffers. Covid restrictions means no indoor dining at thistime. Worth the price! Read more

This is one of the best experiences I have ever had. And it was very foggy! The meal was amazing, the environment was... outstanding, the people were great. You need to reserve a picnic so don?t forget! They provide you with an incredibly large mealthat had a side, sandwich, desert, and drink. Along with a blanket for the picnic. I am so happy I got to the location now, Ihave concerns that this is such an amazing activity that this will become overrun with people and the place will loose itsbeauty and seclusion. Read more

What an absolutely magical experience! Beautiful, homemade food that was well worth the money. $27 apiece bought us a curried... chicken sandwich; a ham, brie, and apple sandwich; warm ouzo salad, homemade lemonade; and a slice of chocolate ganache cake anda trio of Newfoundland berry tarts. The walk up was a little more rugged than we expected, so their caution to wear good shoesis appropriate! And we saw their big compost bin full of juiced lemon halves, so you know that lemonade is fresh as canbe. Bring your windbreaker though - it's WINDY out there! But wow - the view equals the food, and it's absolutely worth thetrip out from St. John's. Read more

I would recommend a stop at the Farryland lighthouse and have the unique opportunity to have a great picnic at a historical... lighthouse. The food is fresh and made to order. You can eat outside, you will be supplied a blanket to sit on, or if theweather is not nice there is seating in side. Read more
