Absolutely delicious dinner! We ordered the salmon, which was prepared perfectly, and the daily special. The special was fried... calamari with a creamy, tomato-ey sauce over grilled cauliflower and broccoli. Not a great description, but it was yummy! Wealso ordered the white sangria, which was average. Excellent service and nice decor. You can get a huge ice cream conedownstairs in the shop for $6.25. Homemade waffle cones. AND, you can do your laundry downstairs too. We came here for lunch during a busy day for the Truffle Pig after a rave review from some friends. The staff seemed to be run... off their feet and the hostess wasn't the most friendly when seating. When it was our turn, I kind of got a side shake of thehead and a "Your table is there and ready." Not really the best of service in that area. Our server was great, however. The foodthat we ended up ordering was good. I would really like to come back here and try some of their other food and drinks as I thinkdrinks are where this establishment looks like they excel. Really nice road cafe/restaurant with a surprising amount of scratch made food and a decent drink selection. I was impressed... they carried woodford reserve bourbon, which isn?t typical for most small town bars and restaurants. The smoked chicken clubhad excellent flavour, but would?ve been better if the chicken as a little moister. Still, I was happy with my lunch and myserver made sure I was well looked after. If you?re stopping in Field and looking for a bite to eat, this place is definitelyworth a look. Read more
We found this gem of a place on our way to Emerald lake. So glad we stopped at the Parks Canada information center to get info... on places to eat at Field. This bistro has unbelievably tasty vegetarian food. The staff is excellent and the views are amazing.We didn?t really worry about the views as the food was superb. Read more

Didn't check-in but tried their bistro. Very family friendly! I know since I brought my wife and four small kids for lunch. The... server Carly was very friendly and has very good customer relations and service training. Even gave my little ones something tocolor and draw on. Wife and kids are very happy!
