My FAVORITE place to get a fancy dinner in Findlay ??????????? We go here on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries... and are treated to only the best. My favorite to get is when they have steak specials. We went when there was a ribeye onspecial that was one of the best ribeyes I have ever had. Read more

Great place. Food was wonderful and well thought out.

After trying many places for dinner only to walk away disappointed, we thought we'd give The Gathering a try. Service was... excellent, the food was amazing (and we're hard to please), a bit on the pricey side but very worth it. The scallops werePERFECTLY prepared, the salmon was amazing, the orecchiette had the most amazing sauce, and the espresso cheesecake--so good. Came in for new years/anniversary dinner and was not disappointed at all. Steak, shrimp, scallops were cooked perfectly, the... mashed potatoes stole the show. Drinks were great and selection was wonderful. It was a little pricey but we'll worth it. Read more

Let me start off by saying that the food is absolutely delicious. It's not a great place for picky eaters as they only have a... few options for entrees. The salad was ok, but hardly had any dressing to it. The vegetables in it were very fresh! The entreewas perfectly cooked, the whipped potatoes were delicious as well as the asparagus! I found it weird that my filet had as muchfat on it as it did, but I ate around it and still enjoyed it. The dessert was alright, I'm not a big close fan and it seemedas though the strawberry wine sorbet had some clove taste to it. Service was mediocre. It took over 20 minutes to get a refillon my water. We didn't get napkins until after our entrees were served. After our entrees were served nobody came to check on usto make sure everything was good. Then we wanted to order ONE sorbet (said this twice) and she still brought out 2. Then afterthe restaurant wasn't full our waitress came back and apologized for not being as attentive as she knew she should have.However, it was too late at that point. She didn't have enough other tables keeping her too busy to care for us. This place wasnot busy and with how expensive it was, I was expecting there to be better service. Read more
