Grandkids love this place. The smell of chocolate when you walk in with homemade chocolate everywhere. We always go to the... back for ice cream. It also has many cute and interesting decorations, like the house painted pink, the decorative windingstaircase, tables with huge checker sets on them for customers to play. Read more

Stopped here on a whim while traveling through the Mid-Atlantic, and so glad we did! Their chocolate is incredible--especially... the dark chocolate (my favorite). I wish they were closer so I could go back to stock up! Read more

A pretty nice little candy shop. I don't believe they actually make their own chocolate. It does seem like it's more of a "we... make the candies but not the ingredients" type place. Kinda the difference between a coffee shop that roasts it's own beans vsone that just makes cups of coffee. In that regard it might be a little steep for what you actually get, but overall it's anice enough store. *12/24/2021 edit - an update to the response from the owner* I'll preface by pointing out, we certainlyenjoyed the chocolate and will be back. That said, there are dozens of bean-to-bar chocolate makers in the US including a fewwithin driving distance of Pittsburgh (if you don't mind going to Maryland or Ohio). I don't think pointing out the differencebetween a chocolate maker and a chocolatier would be out of place in such a review. Sorry if you took umbrage to that fact. Asfar as the relative price is concerned, for example hot chocolate charcuterie is repackaged chocolate melts, marshmallows andcrushed cookies/candy canes. I'd say the value is comparatively low. Some people might disagree but it's really just resoldingredients on a tray. The fudge and actual candies, I'd say the value is comparatively high. That takes skill and experienceand that's absolutely worth the money. Again, personal opinion, sorry if you disagree with that as well. Read more
