The Fancy Nancy chicken salad sandwich was scrumptious. I couldn't believe how good the mac and cheese on the side were. My... girlfriend's broccoli salad was worth the trip alone. My first time here. Jenny was extremely welcoming and very friendly. She offered me samples so I wouldn't get something I didn't... like which is amazing. I chose the Fruity Fran on a croissant with the chicken dumpling soup. Both were delicious. It also camewith an adorable little cookie that was also very good. Portion sizes were good. Food was fresh and hot. The restaurant isbeautiful decorated. Very shabby chic. Even the cups are adorable. I love the girl on them. I will definitely be back. Jenny isa real asset. Don't lose her. Was not very impressed by the quality or price of this place. Both the chicken salad and egg salad were lacking flavor, the club... crackers seemed to be the only thing helping. Odd that was only choice to go with it. Now I love pickles however theirs was acomplete disappointment, was weirdly dry and mushy. I?m really surprised this is a chain restaurant. I love this place I've been to 3 different location New Albany, IN, Glendale on Keystone, and in Fishers next to Shake shack. ... All were delicious. It?s chicken salad. Granted, it was pretty good chicken salad. There are several varieties of chicken salad, but it?s still... chicken salad. They got the atmosphere right. It?s a fun bit of sunny, Southern charm. The clientele seemed happy and the staffwas hard at work. I had the spicy chicken salad, the Kickin? Kay Lynne. Keep in mind that I am a pepper head, so my toleranceis high. There was a little kick in the back of the throat so I was a little impressed. And I also had the spicy pimento spread.I?m a sucker for pimento. It was less spicy than the chicken salad, but there was a hint in there for me. So, as far as chickensalad, it was good chicken salad. As far as a stand alone restaurant, I am surprised that it?s succeeding focusing on one mainitem that is about the cheapest and easiest to make at home. Except egg salad. That?s easier and cheaper.
