Went to the lunch buffet on a Friday. Everything tasted really good, but could have been hotter/fresher. We did get there around... 1, so probably would have been better if we'd gone earlier. They brought us one basket of bread at the table and refilled ourwaters. Chai was included in the buffet and was good! We liked that it was not sweetened, so everyone could sweeten to tastewith their preferred sweetener. One of the people in my party is allergic to chicken, and there were no other meats, but therewere vegetarian options. It was good overall! Read more

The food here is always amazing! I especially enjoy going during lunch buffet because I am indecisive and love a variety. I am a... vegetarian and there are plenty of buffet options for me and you can?t go wrong with any of them. I also love the atmospherehere. The lights are dim and it feels cozy and peaceful. Will continue going! Read more

This sit down buffet had an incredible Indian spread. We were recommended to this restaurant by an Indian, who loves this food... and said it was authentic. My cousin joined us, who had never been to Indian food before, and had a blast. The food was hot anddelicious! I would definitely recommend this place to others. Read more

About the food: I ordered vegetable samosas which came out fairly quickly. They were fresh, hot, crispy, slightly spicy, and... tasty. I also ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. The Naan was hot and smothered in fresh garlic and ghee. It wasamazing. The Tikka Masala was very mild with virtually no spice at all - they didn't ask me what level spice I wanted and Ididn't think to offer that info, although I wish I had. It was also considerably more thick and creamy with coconut milk thanother Tikka Masalas I've had at other places. The saucy had almost a fluffy texture. Overall, it tasted good but different thanI had expected. The food was excellent quality, and I imagine that everything on the menu is delicious. About the Service: Likeother reviewers mentioned, Service was slow. There was only one server doing the best he could. During our conversation, heapologized for not being more on the ball. The summer staff had all gone back to college so he was helping out his friend. Hewas very friendly and did a fantastic job, especially for not being a server and the only one on the floor. About the Building:The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that it didn't smell like food; it smelled unclean. It was like the carpet andthe material draped from the ceiling and windows had never been shampooed. It was also very dark, so the smell made it feel justdirty and dingy overall. Upon being seated, I noticed that the table, silverware, and drinking glasses were clean so I stayed toeat. Had the tables and stuff I ate/drank from been dirty, I would've left. A trip to the bathroom revealed more uncleanliness.Doors, sinks, toilets, etc. I made the mistake of grabbing the red basket (wrapped in foil) in which my Naan sat and realizedthat the bread basket was sticky from being covered in caked grease, like it had never been washed. I felt relieved that theywrapped the basket in foil before putting the Naan in it. Though the food was good and I could toler Read more

We went there twice and both times experience was okay. They gave us dark corner both times and as more customers started... arriving, they gave them tables next to us. I mean all the restaurants is empty, so it would have been better to spread out alittle bit. Not just for safety reasons but for privacy reasons too. Dosa were really yummy, vegetarian Manchurian was okay.Overall, food is 4 stars and service is 2 stars. Read more

This is our second favorite restaurant in Indianapolis. The gravies are made rich by adding cream and butter. We enjoy it when... we are not in mood to eat authentic Indian food. This time we ordered malai kofta and paneer pasanda. Traditional Paneer pasandais shallow fried stuffed paneer sandwiches in rich gravy but this dish had paneer cubes not sandwiches in the gravy. Though ittasted good but not at all resembled like original recipe . Naans were served warm. Staff is nice. Will return again. Read more

So good! We went to dinner and arrived around 5 pm. The server said they technically aren't open for dinner until 5:30 but he... welcomed us in. We ordered Naan (plain and garlic). They gave us a crispy bread much like a large tortilla chip with a tamarindchutney and a mint chutney. Both were good but my favorite was the mint one. Husband ordered the Koti Roast (very spicy) and Igot the Lamb Boti Kebab (mild). Our 2 appetizers and 2 entrees cost less than when we get sushi. Decor was beautiful and servicewas exceptional.
