Conveniently located just off 116th Street/I-69. My experience at LouVinos was wonderful. The food was savory, the atmosphere... and service was exemplary. We cane here for Devour Indy. The restaurant is very nice, with friendly and helpful staff. We took advantage of the half price... wine (on bottles under $60). We had the Devour Indy fixed price meal for two, with the meats & cheeses for starters, then Mywife had the house salad while I had the Brussels sprouts. I really liked the Brussels sprouts, it's a warm salad with greatflavor. For our main course, we both had risotto, I added scallops, my wife added salmon. My husband and I had been here before and we loved it...we really don't know why it took us so long to come back but we are so... happy that we did!! We came for our 24th wedding anniversary and they did NOT disappoint us. The service was great and the foodwas AMAZING! My husband got the Salmon and I got the Chimichurri Steak, both were DELISH! We also ordered the Brussel sprouts(which, normally, I am not a fan of in real life ???????????) and they were also amazing, so much so that I am going to try,once again, to make them at home. We also ordered dessert, I got the creme brulee and my husband got the chocolate chip cookiedough stuffed beignets, both we also absolutely delicious. We both expressed to our server how pleased we were but I reallywished we would have asked to speak to the Chef or at least let him or her know how happy they made us! ????????????????????? Sat outside on the patio which was very nice since it wasn't too hot.The waitress didn't do the greatest job explaining the wine... flights. I ordered what I thought was three different wines but was actually 3 different wine flights. Only way I knew was thetable next to us was brought 3 wine flights per person and they did the same thing but the waitress never said anything. I wasable to get mine changed before they were brought out. Food was good and wine was nice! Read more

What’s not to love? Atmosphere is fantastic. Completely comfortable at all times. Wine list is excellent. It seems they have a... good rotation of wines as well as some of our favorites. The menus is small, but never disappoints. You have to try the friedgreen tomatoes even if you have tried them somewhere else and never liked them. Best appetizer ever! The employees are always ina good mood and enhance the experience. Jack, the manager, makes this place! He remembers our names as well as the food andwines we like.
