After just moving to Carmel, we decided to try Peterson's for steak and seafood. From the moment we walked in everyone was... welcoming. Our server, Coy, was amazing! He went out of his way to ensure we had an awesome, relaxing dinner experience. Wedecided to share a bunch of appetizers and he made sure they came out in intervals as if we had a three course meal. The ambiance was great but the service not so much.. I hate to leave bad reviews but our server was just not very attentive at... all and knew nothing about the menu. Our drinks were pretty strong which we were ok with lol! Our appetizers were not wasdescribed in the menu we got the egg rolls and they were sweet? They did take them off of the bill though… my main problem wasmy pork chops and they were sweet as well after I asked for the sauce on the side..so I sent those back and then I just got theAU gratin potatoes and I’ll be damned they were sweet as well lol.. I think it was the sweet onions that they used in them! Iwouldn’t have a problem returning but I wish they wouldn’t use the same sweet savory option on everything. Read more
Seen this place a few times on my route at night… so I celebrated my girlfriend’s birthday here… we our server was... great!!!… started off with a blue moon beer and a bourbon and lemonade… took me a while to finish that bourbon because itwas super strong????… then ordered some of those prime rib egg rolls I wasn’t impressed with those at all neither was mygirlfriend… they was kinda on the sweet tasting side like soaked in bbq sauce or something we wasn’t feeling those… then Iordered a bowl of lobster bisque. That stuff was AMAZING everything about it was great I even dipped the side bread in it lol.Lastly I ordered a 14oz Filet Mignon butterflied with garlic butter on top and a side of Au gratin potatoes… And the steak wasthe best part of it all!!! So soft and tender the way it was seasoned was perfect!!! But on the other side my girlfrienddidn’t really enjoy it here she didn’t like the and her pork chop meal she ordered was messed up and it took so long toprepare another one she said no and I just shared my steak with her and neither of us like those au gratin really didn’tunderstand the diced onions was about in there lol made it taste sweet too… they did take her meal off the bill but I felt badthat she didn’t enjoy it on her birthday meal there probably won’t come back ????but I don’t recommend this place becausethe steak was great!!! The food was over priced and not good. Fancy names but nothing good about it. Spent well over a hundred dollars and only had a... lobster appetizer that was gross and not cooked well and 2 fish entrees. Never will come back. Wolfies is better! Read more
For me, Peterson's is the best restaurant in the Indianapolis area. My go to for a special occasion. Took my daughters for a... graduation celebration and it did not disappoint. Peterson's gives you that old school, upscale feel but with a non stuffyvibe. Service is always awesome and the food is off the chart delicious. I had the Ribeye with a bacon blue cheese crust. Girls had seafood dishes. All pretty on the plate and tasty. Apps and desert all fabulous. If you're looking for that placeto entertain someone from out of town or to celebrate a special occasion, look no further. Read more

This was by far the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had! Our table was ready and prepared for us when we arrived. Coy... was great! He’s very personable and genuine. He made us feel like VIPs! Great stories and his suggestions were great! Hesuggested a drink called a Pinetini and it was amazing! The food was awesome! The most tender and melt-in-your-mouth filetmignon I’ve ever had. Her ribeye was buttery, flavorful and perfectly crusted. The prime rib egg rolls were delicious. Themashed potatoes and broccolini were delicious! The cheesecake was arguably the best we’ve had. Definitely give Peterson’sand Coy all 5 stars and all the thumbs up you can think of! Read more
