Great place with great food and great staff. Ken who served us was very nice from the first contact and always providing good... suggestions on the menu for food and drinks. The steak burger was delicious and tasty. Angela the manager made the experienceperfect by ensuring we were treated well. The beer is great and cold. Definitely recommended if you are around. I went here for a business meeting not expecting much other than a quick bite for lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by both... their service, and the quality of food. Both myself and my business partner had the lobster and shrimp salad. I was expecting alump of lobster tail meat on some shredded lettuce, but it was much more than that. We both loved the taste and the plating /presentation. It was truly a great refreshing meal, not heavy, but filling enough. I've had seafood on both coasts, this dishcan easily be on their menus. The food quality is fine, just fine. High quality ingredients prepared well. The issue here is that for what you will spend at... this place, I think you should expect to be very impressed, and I was not. I’ve ate steaks from the finest steakhouses in different cities from here to Fort Lauderdale Florida for the last 11 days, and... the Spinalis marbled rib eye steak from HC Tavern has honestly been by far the best. I paired with their Old Fashioned and anIndiana Amber from Oaken Barrel brewing company. Horseradish mashed potatoes. I highly recommend if you’re in town and this iswithin your budget. You cannot go wrong dining at this establishment! Exceeded my expectations and then some. Although this is located in a very... casual area, I would clearly rate this as fine dining. Entree quality is reflected in the pricing and it's worth every penny.The escargot served here is only second to what we had an Paris. They have a maple cured bacon appetizer that is delightfullydelicious and worth the sticky fingers. Seared scallops were done to perfection and the medium rare steak was served as superbas you would receive in a Michelin star rated restaurant. Compliment your meal with an EXTENSIVE wine and spirits selection andagain, you just can't go wrong here. This is my new spot to dine when in the Fishers area without question. Not sure if it was an off night, but the dining experience was not what I expected. Based on other people's reviews I was... looking forward to a higher-quality foodie experience.
