The food was excellent except our waiter was a little slow. He took my glass to get me another drink and never returned until he... brought our meal. For years, my parents have raved about this place but I?ve yet to be impressed, primarily because of the service. But today? was... the worst!! We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival when we couldn?t find anywhere to park, we walked in to hear it was goingto be a 15 minute wait for a table for four. Great start! Even better, it was 15 minutes or less and we were seated right on thewater! However, that was where everything went south. Once seated, it was never 10 minutes until we were acknowledged. At thatpoint we had to ask for water. The server came back with three waters for our party of four. My parents were there days beforeand warned us that our waitress did not do well the last time we were there and I may want to ask for someone else. I wish Ihad! We ordered drinks, two beers, Prosecco and a vodka tea. Simple right? We received three of four, missing a beer and she hadno idea how to open the bottle of Prosecco. (No worries, we?ve got this.) we had to ask for our 4th water and the missing beer.It never came. Eventually we asked another waitress for assistance and she was super helpful!! Fast forward. One app and 4entres, nothing special, no big deal. Then salads came. Nothing much of an issue except THERE WAS A HAIR draped right across thesalad. The three or is that didn?t find hair in our salad were completely done before the waitress came back at which point wementioned the hair although it was too late to do anything. Then our dinners came. This was the only good part of the service.The food was all correct, cooked well and delicious! Better than I remembered! Good food, good service. We had a reservation for 6 people at 6pm. It was busy but, we were seated on time. Waitress made sure... we all were taken care of. Each of us ordered something different and liked it all. Decent prices compared to other places fordinner. Read more
Took 10 minutes for a waitress to come over. Watched our drinks sit 15+ minutes before they were brought over. Had to request... water 3 times. Hair in salad (as pictured). From seated to leaving, over a 1.5 hour trip of waiting so much. Food was good oncewe got it, amazing how good food can taste without hair in it! Read more
This food was fabulous! Scallops cooked perfectly. Not over cooked! Nothing beats the view!
Foxy's is a great spot to eat if you're in the clayton/a-bay area there food is always good and a great selection of Italian... dishes and surf and turf large selection of wines and adult beverages we typically make it a favorite place to go after a day onthe river and Fishers landing boat launch is a great place to launch the boat and parking is convenient and affordable place toleave your truck and trailer while your out for the day and foxy's also have a nice dock area if you like to dock and get agreat dinner with your friends or family. The waitress we had last week was super kind and was honest about anything we hadquestions about and knowledgeable about most of the menu my cousin had questions about. I like the waiter at first but he was very flighty. Forgot our bread twice. Forgot our drinks. Forgot our orders for our meal.... Not very attentive. Food was good when we got it.
