Love this location. Service is great and they are super friendly. Food is good. Had the BEST pancake. Cripsy on the edges, soft... and fluffy on the inside yet it has a little bite texture. It's was so buttery. I love it. I enjoyed it with my grandpabreakfast and a bottle of peach mimosa. It was delish. Can't believe they serve alcohol. The chicken pot pie was not bad. Ok, so I am not new to Cracker Barrel, always stop in when I am traveling, since I don't live near one. This location by far is... the best! The service was on point, the food was perfect. OMG!!! the chicken fried chicken was phenomenal. So was the kickn'ranch fried chicken; finger licking goodness!!!!!!!! Also try the broccoli cheese casserole. Went for dinner with my family after the water park and so happy we did. Everything was delicious. Breakfast/ comfort food at... its best. I absolutely loved the vintage, old skool setting. Very nice country setting chain restaurant store located within a mile from the Route 9 Fishkill, NY Exit off of Interstate 84.... Establishment is clean, staff was friendly, and food was very good. I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Family Meal Box to go.Meal comes with 2 sides, buttermilk biscuits various chosen condiments and utensils. My only complaint/suggestion for thecompany is to update their online order capabilities. I wanted to order online and utilize curb side pick-up at the store. Itried to place my order online by using a Cracker Barrel Gift Card. There is no option to place your order online unless youprepay with the use of a credit card. I actually called their Headquarters in Tennessee because I thought I was doing somethingwrong. They confirmed that you cannot purchase anything online with their gift card. I feel if the company sells their own giftcards you should be able to use them for online purchases. Read more
So we love going to Cracker Barrel and have eaten at many in several states. The Fishkill NY store is the one we frequent most.... Always clean and friendly. This time while the service was great the food was less than enjoyable. I ordered French toast and itwas hard as a rock and my plate had a chunk missing from it. I didn't complain and proceeded to eat my husband's chicken friedchicken since he had plenty. We will still go to Cracker Barrel but I won't order the French toast again. Read more
