This was a quick stop while we were on a road trip. The food was delicious!! The waiter was great and helped with suggestions... from the menu. Everyone was very friendly. They asked for how spicy you want your dish, which was great! I like my Indian foodspicy!! I also got a Naan that was stuffed with cheese, spices and tons of garlic! Very very good! Nothing in life is sheer coincidence and walking into this restaurant is the truth to that statement. I could have picked up... lunch at any spot on Rt 206 but I was called to specifically go to Taste of India. Immediately upon my entry I was greeted by abeautiful Ganesha statue and immediately felt at home. The owner of the restaurant was incredibly kind and gracious, the foodspoke to my soul. As I was awaiting my food to be prepared the conversation with the owner was authentic and he gave mesuggestions of places I should visit. The Malai Kofta and Chicken Somosas made me stop what what I was doing and focus on theexperience of eating a nourishing lunch. There was the right amount of all the traditional Indian spices. If you haven't beenhere-RUN don't walk! I am forever grateful that I was guided to stop in. Thank you to the kitchen staff who conscientiouslycrafted my meal and thank you to the owner who listened to my sob story. I'm so glad we connected. Read more
My wife and I don't eat Indian food often, but when we do thank God our experiences have been great. This place is AMAZING!!!!!... The food is phenomenal and the staff is just as good. Describing what different things are and recommendations were spot on. Youcan tell the love they have for their work place, the food and their culture. We were excited to find an Indian restaurant in the this area. We ordered goat Rogan josh & Butter chicken for takeout & it was... the biggest disappointment!!! Both gravies tasted same & goat meat smelled stale. Worst food I ordered anywhere in recentyears. I won?t be going there again for sure!! Read more
Incredible food and service that rivals all I've had before! The staff is both kind and attentive and the food is absolutely out... of this world good. While we were basic and ordered the butter chicken and tikka masala, I can confidently say they were thebest we've had! Read more
Best service and overall dining experience I?ve had in a long time. The food was excellent and portions are good. Great variety... also ? more variety than I?ve seen before at other Indian restaurants. I tried something new and thought it was fantastic. Thestaff members are patient and helpful explaining dishes to patrons who are unfamiliar. The staff checked on us frequently,refilled water multiple times, and offered extra rice for my takeout container. Thank you to the waiters who are wonderful! Read more
