Everything started out great with a smooth creamy kabocha and butternut squash autumnal soup. We also had some delightful... oysters, but the topper was definitely the pear focaccia. Our server was kind and courteous, but seemed a bit like she was aboutto lose her composure running back and forth. We were sat right in line of sight of the kitchen entrance which really didn'thelp things. Main courses were the bronzino for my wife and I ordered the pork roulade. My wife's bronzini came out great, butthe pork roulade was more like a lump of salty pulled pork, reminiscent of corned beef hash, on top of a puddle of gooey polentamixed with broccoli rabe. A bit of a soupy mess. Was disappointed to say the least. The worst part of White Birch was the livemusic. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for live music but because of the restaurant layout the sound just reverberates throughoutthe entire place. We had a very difficult time holding a conversation without shouting at each other. Overall, I don't thinkI'll be returning here. Seems like they can't decide if they are an upscale farm to table dining experience or a burgers andbrew live music venue for the Friday night bar crowd (yes, there actually is a burger on the menu). I suppose if you like thatcombo it's the right place for you, but if you're looking for a quiet night out for a special occasion you may want to lookelsewhere. Read more

Great experience. We decided to eat here after passing by the place dozens of times and I'm really glad we did. The baby back... ribs appetizer stole the show for me: tons of flavor and perfectly cooked. A good sized portion, too, especially for an app. Iwent with the roast chicken entrée and it, too, was very good. The menu is really interesting and we will definitely be back totry some more options. (I've got my eye on that double cut pork tomahawk...) Read more

Amazing restaurant. Artistic and delicious dishes. There should be a line out the door. Locally sourced, fresh and one of the... best meals anywhere. NYC quality at half the price. A gem that should not be missed. Read more

It took me way too long to get here but last week I decided to make it a priority. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic, from... the food and drinks to the service. Everything is A+ here. The hardest part is deciding what you want to order off the menu. Iopted for the Highway to Hana cocktail, the octopus appetizer, and the burger. Unfortunately there was no room from dessert. Theservice is absolutely excellent and spot on. I definitely look forward to returning. There is certainly a reason why they areone of the top 30 restaurants in New Jersey. Read more

Sadly, White Birch was a huge disappointment. My husband and I dined there for our anniversary, and ordered eight dishes. None... were seasoned well enough (just adding more salt to some of the dishes could have added a lot), the various dishes had similarflavor profiles and nothing was truly appealing. I wanted to love this restaurant since it’s one of the few options we have intown, but it just fell short. Read more

I had their burger with pork belly and gruyere cheese caramelized onions, tomato and lettuce.(this was the 1st time in my life I... didn't need ketchup on my burger) I also ordered a onion and gruyere cheese tart with frisee salad pine nuts and sherryvinaigrette. Everything I put into my mouth was delicious. You must go here!! I'm definitely going back ASAP Read more

The place is very beautiful, both inside and outside. It is a good place if you want to spend quality time with your friends or... family and have drinks. However, the food is not the best, although it is presented beautifully. It did take them about anhour to prepare my omelet. The menu showed that all ingredients were vegetarian. When I was ordering it I also said I was avegetarian and the waiter nodded in acknowledgement. When they brought my omelet and I cut it, I found sausages inside. When Ipointed it out, they apologized and prepared a new one for me. They later explained that I was given an old menu and the cookhad a new menu, which caused the confusion. The taste of the food was not great. The oil was very heavy, not enough salt orpepper, almost no taste. Then we ordered a desert. It took about another hour for them to serve it. The apple pie with pecanswas very small. The crust was overcooked, the apples were from a can. The whole pie seemed to have been taken out from a frozenpackage and it was room temperature when it was served. I gave it 3 stars only for the beautiful appearance and presentationbut it is definitely not worth the money. Read more

Came here for lunch. Had the Korean Brisket Sammy and Pumpkin beer. All menu items looked interesting (hard to decide), but was... happy with my choice. Little hidden gem in a small town. Love that it’s farm to table. Everything tasted amazing and willdefinitely be back soon. Like probably next week soon. ???? Read more
