My partner and I had ordered the potato skin appetizer and two chicken strip dinners. The first problem was we didn?t receive... our appetizer until after we had received our main meals. The next problem occurred when I took a bite of my mashed potatoes andgot a mouthful of raw diced onions. When I asked the waitress if onions were supposed to be in the potatoes she went and asked,when she came back she laughed and went ?no.? Lastly, we waited 30 minutes for our waitress to come back at all and finally askif we wanted to-go boxes. Mind you, there were only two other tables with people sat at them while we were there. When she cameback with the boxes, she had our receipt in her hand and just walked away with it after handing us the boxes. When I went to thecashier to try and pay, my waitress walked up to me and went ?Did I not give you the receipt?? And I said ?No you did not? andshe responded by laughing and walking away. Overall a very sad service and I am sad that this place has gone sooo far downhill.Very disappointed as well that I spent $46 for terrible service. Read more
The worst food with the worst value. Don?t waste your money. Horrible food. My Mother-in-law ordered dinner last night. The... Jumbo shrimp anything but Jumbo, more like popcorn shrimp. I?m going to give this a 4 star rating for all of the people in the kitchen and the waitresses putting up with a certain someone... in the kitchen?s terrible sportsmanship. I also work in the food industry and I know that holidays especially are stressful.You?re making a lot at once and dealing with a lot of annoying customers who frankly could care less how your day is going, butthat is absolutely no excuse to take your frustration out on your peers. You?re all stressed out enough already. It?s way moreworth it to just stand up straight for a moment, close your eyes and take a good deep breath to cool down. I could care lessthat sir J (I?m not going to say his name specifically) flipped out about my order being messed up in front of me, a customer.That?s whatever. But the pain in everyone else?s eyes around you in that moment spoke volumes. I for one would not let my teamfeel that kind of pressure on an already stressful day. The staff here is great and treats ya like family... The food isn't bad either. They have a GREAT breakfast special and I love... their meatloaf. The housemade Greek & Ranch salad dressings are the best around.... The chicken paprikash soup is sooooooo goodalong with the chicken noodle..... The best burgers around and are like what you'd expect from a good bar burger.... Try thegrilled chicken salad. Chocolate cake is great. Pork Chops are nice and juicy. Turkey dinner is good. Gyros are tasty. Stir fryis really good too.... For just being a smaller town Coney Island I give it 5 STARS!!! Cold biscuits and gravy, no steak and no hashbrowns available. Not impressed with anything but the wait staff!
