This is one of my favorite spots in the area! More of a Cafe feel than a bakery. They make the best Matcha Latte I've ever had.... Their wood fired pizza is amazing as well.... but nothing beats enjoying it on the big outdoor patio with magnolia trees growingthrough the middle???? Read more
First just wanted the say the food is delicious and the woman who brought out the food was really nice. However, the woman... working the front counter today and the guy cooking were not nice. We asked if we could get butter base on our pizza due to my 4year old not liking pizza sauce and they both made fun of my wife for asking that. Then when our pizza came it was suppose to behalf five cheese and half regular cheese but when it came out it all looked the same. When we asked which half was which thecook rudely said that it was for the customer to figure out. Was our first and last time ever coming here. Read more
The good: they have a large and delicious menu despite the small space! The place smells amazing and is in a great location.... Park at the Square across the street to avoid dealing with the cramped back parking lot. Flat Rock is well planned andpedestrian friendly, and I find the walk over to be enjoyable! The menu features plenty of gluten free options, which I reallyappreciate. The macaroons I got were pretty good and quite large. My husband really enjoyed his muffin. We both felt the priceswere fair! The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars: it is rather uncomfortably cramped inside, and the line moved very slowly. Wewent on a Monday afternoon, so I can imagine it would only be a tighter fit on a weekend or more popular day. While waiting inthe long line, I was bumped into at least 6 times by people on their way to drop off dirty dishes or exit the restaurant. Therejust wasn?t enough room for all that was going on in this one area. I wish the bussing station were in a differentlocation. Overall, I won?t let the atmosphere stop me from visiting again. As a local resident, it?s exciting to find gems intown. I?ll probably plan on ordering takeout or ordering ahead to bypass the crowded dining room next time. Read more
It's one of our favorite places to take our friends to and just right around the corner from us!! We love their oven brick... pizzas especially the veggie and the BBQ chicken pesto as well as all the treats from the bakery;) Their stuff is made withorganic ingredients and lots of love? Read more
