Went here for the first time for breakfast and food was great for the price. The breakfast potatoes/home fries were my favorite... and well seasoned. Would have ordered just a plate of it and been happy. They were short staffed and the service was stillgreat. They made a wise decision to close early so they can get the cafe ready for lunch, so no hard feelings. Will comeagain!!! Read more
Table for two. Sit anywhere. Got our own menus. Servers waited on tables that arrived after us, and cleaned tables off without... even approaching us. Got up and left. Wasn?t even busy, and plenty of staff present. No excuse. Read more
This is a really spectacular place with great food and extremely friendly service. I had the full JS breakfast and it was... unbelievable. The pancakes might be the best I have ever had. The prices are very affordable as well. I came here with my sonafter a game at Diamond Nation. You can skip a diner and come to this place. Read more
Came for lunch and the bitterly rude hostess yelled at us for not reading the ?obvious?, small seating time sign on the door,... and then basically told us to leave. Food could be 5 star but I wouldn?t give them my money if it was the last food option onthe planet. Read more
Imagine wanting to enjoy a beautiful breakfast out with your father on Father?s Day. To come to a small restaurant and ask if... there?s a wait time or if you could just sit down. To then being told by Jenny it?s a 20 minute wait as dishes are on tables andpeople are sitting there waiting on there breakfast. Knowing there is only one cook and a waitress that?s understandable thatthere?s a wait time. We proceeded to walk around town for about 20 minutes to walk back into the restaurant and ask again if wecan sit down. Only to be met with Jenny the waitress who rudely responds, ?it?ll be a 20-30 minute wait!? We proceeded to waitoutside the establishment and see 3 different groups of people go in and sit down. Walking into the restaurant for a third timeand ask if we could sit down as Jenny responds rudely, ?it will be a 30 minute wait and it?s dirty still? not having cleaned upfrom the last time we went in to the establishment. I then proceeded to say, ?3 groups of people came in and sat down, could wesit down?? Jenny responded quite rudely, ?no and to wait outside!? Not understanding why we couldn?t and proceeded to ask ?why??is when Jenny raised her voice saying, ?we came in 3 times asking to sit down and how busy they were.? When they weren?t thatbusy to begin with. Trying to have a conversation with Jenny was futile and met with the rudest behavior I?ve ever encountered.When I asked for Jenny?s name and said, ?I?ll be happy to write this review of the poor service we received.? While her husbandthe cook I assume came aggressively towards me and said, ?I?m sure you?ll write something great!? very rudely which wasn?tnecessary. While Jenny became more aggressive as well we responded by saying, ?we aren?t raising our voices.? Amazing and satisfying breakfast! Found a little gem during my MVC wait. Accommodated my dietary needs (no bun or fries).... Ordered a burger with an egg and sauteed mushrooms. So full! Read more
Very friendly deli. Nice environment. Fast WiFi. But not a cafe. Do not expect good coffee.
