I?m a fan of LongHorn and I really wanted to love this location; However, EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here, whether it?s busy or... not, my food always comes out COLD and my steak is always cooked incorrectly. Two stars because waitstaff is nice & attentiveand the drinks are always great. I don?t know what is happening with the quality control in that kitchen though. I?ve given thislocation my business 5 times in the last year, yet they have failed consistently. Won?t be coming back here. Read more
I really don't go to longhorn too often but it is a gem of Flemington. The food is very very good the atmosphere is amazing, the... prices are a little steep but it is a steakhouse so it's expected. Overall a great place for me to go every once and a while ifI'm feeling a great steak and don't want to grill one myself. Read more
We went for my mothers birthday yesterday and it was a big one too. We sat down and I asked the hostess to let the server know... and that we would like their molten chocolate cake with ice cream brought to our table at the end of our meal. Meal was greatserver ok and a couple times the manger came by to clear dishes and did a table touch he was lovely. At the end of our meal theserver came by and asked about dessert and I was confused because we already solved that. I went to go find our server after sheleft to remind her couldn?t find her came back to the table check was already drops so I went to the host and to confirm thatthey did relay The message to her they said they did and that they will remind her but I told him that she already dropped thecheck and my father had paid I said don?t worry about it because literally we were getting up to go at this point. As we?regetting up to come the server drops the desert which was TON whip cream and a scoop of ice cream and a candle in it. Food and Service were good overall for a weekday dinner. Steak item I ordered was chewy.
So I ate dinner tonight by myself and sat at the bar. Cool place. Never disappoints. I try different things when I?m in town as... I am staying overnight at A Motel a few miles away. I?m always impressed by their dress code and professionalism. Tonight themanager came by and asked if everything was great. I don?t see that as much anymore. I couldn?t help but notice he looked alot and I mean a lot like that Karate Kid character in the 80?s! When I return in a few weeks I will swing by and get my usualsteak and cold brewski. My 22 oz. Longhorn steak was cooked to perfection. The mushroom and cheddar cheese appetizer (with a crunchy topping) is very... tasty- I would order again. Same with the chicken wings which were tender and juicy. The decor is very interesting andcomforting. Just the right amount of warm light to see your food. and menu. The crew was constantly cleaning adjacent areas evenusing their cellphone flashlights to see under tables to insure they didn't miss anything. Read more
Never in my life have I had an experience like the one I had at Longhorn tonight. The food? Phenomenal, exceptional, out of this... world. But.. the service. We had Bradd, and let me just say that there are not words in this language that express howabsolutely astounding he was. I?m so upset that I live an hour away. Even so, this may be a weekly trip. It?s true what chefs say. Don?t buy steak with sauce as it?s not the best quality. I ordered the chop steak in mushroom sauce ... and it was over cooked and the sauce was extremely thick like almost a paste. Never again. The steak had the texture of ahamburguer which I don?t know why they ask about how cooked I wanted it. Read more
