Why did I wait all my life to try this place? I grew up in Grand Blanc and I?ve driven by this place for decades, overlooking... it. Huge mistake. Last night my wife and I got it for the first time and it was the best Chinese takeout we have ever had! The egg rolls are huge and delicious. The dinner combo portions are huge- easy two meals for someone like myself with a bigappetite. The quality was top notch. The chicken fried rice not only tasted delicious, it has many large chunks of qualitywhite meat chicken as opposed to other places that add just a bit and call it good. The thing that will ruin any Chinese foodis low quality meat. We?ve all cut into some General Tso?s and wondered exactly which part of the chicken we were looking at. I feel like places sometimes save the good chicken for Sweet N Sour and Tso?s gets the leftover, covered up with lots of batterand sauce to hide the less appetizing stuff. Not the case here; my chicken was good all the way through. Crab cheese wasdelicious, a homemade sauce for them would take it up another notch. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Fenton. We decided to try them after looking for a place we hadn't tried yet. We got a big order and went home with it. I'm a big fan of... sweet and sour chicken, and my only complaint was that there wasn't any vegetables or pineapple in the sauce. We've eaten a lotof Chinese food over the years, and this was the first time that a place didn't have veggies (usually peppers and carrots), andpineapple in the sauce. This is my new favorite Cantonese location. My Sweet Sour Chicken was delicious and tasted fresh. They use jumbo shrimp in Fried... Rice which is a big plus. Will be back. Read more
Friends and I stopped by for take out. They had Mongolian Beef and they ordered it fairly hot and loved it. Another had Orange... Chicken and I had Mongolian Chicken. Dinners come with soup and egg roll. We were in the parking lot when we ordered and it wasready in about 10 minutes. The entire order was correct and packaged tightly for travel. I give their Egg Rolls a 9+. Theportion was so huge that I ate only 1/3 of it and my egg roll. The next day I ate my Egg Drop Soup and it was delicious! Notwatered down like some you get. That night I ate another 1/3 of the portion and still had some left and it tasted as good as itdid the first time. Everyone loved their meal. My only request of all Asian restaurants is they should offer 2 sizes for dinner;large and small. I hate to waste food. Overall very tasty. My meal was about $10, and worth every dollar. Read more
