Reopened and great! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and the market inside is super cute, great spot to grab unique gifts.... They also serve alcohol. Highly recommend the Chicago hot dog. We stopped on our way down to Brooksville and it was amazing. We got a burger, fish sandwich and the street corn. All were... great, but the corn was by far my favorite. We also had ice cream and the sugar free/dairy free ice cream was stupendous. Read more
Went for ice cream, which was very good, but they were very stingy on portions. I ordered the kiddie size in a cup. It was... only 3/4 full and the ice cream didn't even stick up over the top for $3.75. The other order was for a full scoop in a cup, andthey served it up the same way. Update - The owner made right a snafu with my take out order. I really appreciate the gracious customer service. ???? I grew... up outside Chicago. If you're expecting a traditional, slow cooker Italian Beef sandwich, well, this isn't it. The sandwichwas generously heaped with meat and was Ok, just not what I expected. It was more like a regular roast beef or French dipsandwich. Unfortunately, the French fries didn't travel well. They were limp and oily. Better to enjoy them hot and fresh. Pudgee's has a LOT of other menu choices. I look forward to trying other options next time I stop in. Original review- Awesome place with a fun vibe! The staff was friendly and the food was SO good! I tried the banana split alongside some oftheir hand cut fries and was not disappointed. ???? They have a HUGE selection of menu offerings. I look forward to visitingagain! From the customer service to the food, I?d give zero stars if possible. The younger female with glasses at the front desk... literally did not acknowledge neither mine nor my sisters existence; not a hello, not a thank you- literally mute the entiretime we were at the register. I paid 16 dollars and change for an extra well done burger that came out with a pink center,cheese fries that literally had a handful of primarily cold cheddar cheese thrown on top and a drink. I've lived in Floral City for all my life and can say that the food is good, but the fries can be better. The burger was... excellent with it being hot and fresh, but the fries were soggy after being taken out of the oil. They just needed to be driedbefore being fried and would have been perfect.
