It's a pub but mostly a bar. The attention to anyone who wanted table service was meager at best. We watched our server walk out... the back door, didn't come back for 15 min and she walked in with her own food - which says a lot about how she feels aboutwhat she serves. My biggest complaint was the "non-cash surcharge" they slyly added to the bill. I was handed the bill, $130.I handed over my card and suddenly it was $136 and change. Looking carefully, they added 3.99% fee for using the card insteadof cash. It was upsetting that she never said, "we have a policy if you're not paying with cash" and just assumed no one wouldnotice. I know she's just following management orders, but I found that to be shady practice so the moral of the story hereis, always check your tab. Read more

We had our second family party at Jack Duggan?s yesterday for our father?s 95th birthday. I can?t say enough about the... wonderful food and service. JD is a consistently good place. I have been going here for more than a decade. Food is very good, drinks are drinks, service... always very good. On 5/28/21 was moderately "crowded": Seating was available. Good COVID rules and compliance. They also have anupstairs area that can be rented out. Read more
Nice little bar in old, classic building. Bartenders didn't let our drinks get empty and gave us pointers for surrounding... area. Could use an upgrade on product selection. But otherwise will be back. Read more
It was my first time here and everything was great. A perfect pub experience. The food was pub perfect. We had wings with sweet... chili sauce, potato skins, all good but the onion rings were the best I've had! I wish I had asked the young woman who workedbehind the bar her name!
