Very tasty Kerala food with unusual variety of "home made" dishes prepared with authentic spices and rich flavors. As far I... know, Kuttanadan is a take-out/catering restaurant. Pretty sophisticated packaging to preserve freshness and aroma. Moreover,on-time delivery. Super friendly staff. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. We had a prayer at our house with 37 people attending. Febin took the time to help us plan out a detailed menu. Every item we... received was fresh & delicious. Very bad food quality . The chicken biriyani we order was very spicy and full of bone without a good chicken pieces. We paid 15... dollar for one biriyani. And earlier (last month )we order some porota and chicken tikka to masala that was horrible. After latethat getting sick for two days.Continous vomiting and diarrhea. That was food poison. I need to report this to food safetydepartment because provide old and bad food to people for high price. Please don't do this to anyone else. Give good qualityfood to people. First week of September we ordered lunch boxes from restaurant and the curries they gave us not newly made itwas refrigerated and it taste really bad. Have been ordering take out from Kuttanadan for over a year. It is maybe the most authentic Kerala cuisine served on Long... Island. The quality of the meats served is most notable. The beef fry and curry; paal appam and chicken curry, fish fry andcurry are most notable. The menu is varied and sure all quality items. Read more
Would not recommend for catering services. Food was not prepared to our expectations. Flavors were all on the extremes (e.g. too... much vinegar, or too diluted with cream). Staff could not even properly take note of when we wanted to pick up and delayed ourevent. All our guests were expressing how ill-prepared the food was. Some even had diarrhea after eating the food. Happened across this place searching for dinner. We ordered take out of Butter Chicken, Chicken Korma, Lamb Briyani and Chapatti... bread. 3 for 3. Food was fresh, delicious and service of picking it up impeccable. The food was kept in a lock box perfectlypackaged. Got home and the portions was well worth the price. The Butter Chicke. Haven't tried all the items.. Though it is ok, I think fish fry, beef,porotta can improve..???????? Kerala meals was good.
