I decided to try 306 BBQ while in Florence because one of my professors at UNA included it in a math problem (really). It's a... nice restaurant in a great location, and the people were friendly, but this was truly some of the most mediocre BBQ I've had ina long time. I got a pulled pork sandwich and while it wasn't bad by any stretch, there was nothing particularly impressiveabout it. There was very little smoke flavor and the sauce tasted generic. The mac and cheese I got as a side was not good atall. It had very little flavor and the pasta was mushy. Still, it was a pretty decent value, especially compared to BBQ placesin Birmingham which tend to be pretty pricey. Read more
Not bad, but hard to say it was better than just OK. Service was fine. Restaurant environment was very clean and nice inside.... Ordered the pulled pork, potato salad, and baked beans, with a drink and banana pudding for dessert, all for around $18. Porkwas middling, unfortunately—certainly not worth writing home about. Potato salad was very good! Baked beans had (clearly) notbeen hydrated and were dry and mushy. Banana pudding was the best part of the meal by far. Overall, some highs and some lows. Iwouldn’t call this a good value for the money. Update: Attempted to give this place a second chance. Big mistake. Google saysthey’re open until 10, their website says they’re open until 10, their front door says they’re open until 9. I arrivedshortly after 8 and they had already put the chairs over the tables and I was told they could only do take out orders. Not surewhy they have such a large dining area if they can’t serve people in it. Drove nearly an hour from Tennessee for nothing.Dropped to two stars. Very disappointed. Read more
Love this place. I come here everytime I am in town on business. The brisket was incredible....tender, tasty and very little... fat to deal with. Excellent sauce (brown). It came with Hoppin' John as a side and some sort of apple crisp. All of it wastop notch. Fast, friendly staff as well. Read more
My fav place to grab some ribs and potato salad. Not pictured: their banana pudding which I also love. Call in orders are super... easy. They usually have it ready in 15-20 mins. Read more
The food was just ok. We got 3 kids meals, a rib plate and a fish plate. The ribs were not seasoned well. The fish was fried... too long and wasn't seasoned. I hate leaving a bad review, but this meal wasn't fulfilling at all. Read more
Stopped in to 306 BBQ while traveling through. This was a clean restaurant. Very simple menu with daily specials. We had pulled... pork and it was very good. Sides were very tasty and food was the right temperature. I would recommend stopping in and trying itout also. Read more

I ordered the pulled pork plate with baked beans and potato salad. The service was quick, but the baked beans were mediocre and... warmer than the pulled pork, which was on the very lukewarm side. The potato salad was the best part of the meal. Portions weresmall. Probably my first and last time eating here. Read more
