Previously had this restaurant rated 4 stars. This last experience definitely deserves dropping them to 1 however. Walking in... the door we waited 6 minutes to even see a hostess who seated the gentleman who walked in as she was walking up before us.(Imagine a Friday night with no wait we should have known from the get go). After being seated it took 9 minutes before ourserver even introduced herself to us to take our drink order. We went ahead and put in our very simple food order as well (2oriental chicken salads and mozzarella sticks from the 2 for $25 menu). 2 different servers brought us our food, the only othertime we saw our waitress was when she brought the check. Usually I always order dessert but it was clear she didn't care. Thesalads were extremely underwhelming, the chicken tasted old and the lettuce was very wilted. The mozzarella sticks tasted likethey had been sitting out and were cold. This has been the most disappointing visit to a restaurant I have had in a very longtime. Well it was busy, and they were obviously short handed. Sat at bar, took 10 minutes to be acknowledged, 20 minutes before they... asked for drink order. I got my tea, but it was 10 minutes before she made my mixed drink. After 20 minutes salad came out,then my main meal 1 minute after that. Food was awful. We ordered steak and the sampler appetizers. We asked to sub the spinach dip for queso and were not told it... would be an additional charge. No big deal, steaks were bland, my husband got the steak and shrimp. The shrimp was not fullycooked and steak was under cooked. My child did enjoy her corn dog but its hard to mess that up. Only thing enjoyable about thisvisit was the drinks. Highly disappointed since we drove from Ohio to dine here. The table was also propped up against the wallholding it stable because the screws keeping it secure to the base were either missing ot not properly screwed on. 100%disappointed with this visit. Called ahead to make sure they had happy hour half price apps. Their recording said they had half price apps after 9pm. Verified... with bartender they had half price apps. Ordered the chicken wings with said bartender. Wings were great. Get bill and wings arefull price. I ask why the discrepancy and then he busts out the "Only select apps are half price" Would have been nice if hetold me when I ordered. Manager came and said same thing even though their phone recording nor the bartender ever mentioned"select appetizers". Not trying to get anything free but be up front with people about what you're offering instead of afterthey've already ordered and eaten then shrugging it off Read more
Server Ave (I hope I heard it right) was very nice, friendly and helpful. Cajun salmon and chicken tenders (kids menu) were... delicious. I didn’t like cheese on my French onion soup, my bad, I should asked not to add when I ordered. Read more
Went there tonight , n we love Applebee's but we went to the Turfway location and I don't think I will be going back to that... location. First, we get there and we get seated and it wasn't busy at all. We go to the seat area and the waitress (Hannah) askwhat we wanted to drink we told her and there was only 3 of us. Well the manager (Alex) ended up bringing our drinks after agood 15 mins of sitting. Needless to say Alex did all of the running , btw he is an amazing manager he was seating, cooking andtaking care of the waitress tables. The only time was seen her was if she was at the table behind us , not a very good server atall . I finally got my Fiesta chicken and I told her well DONE , well it was raw ND undercooked. I never like to complain aboutmy food but when u bite into something that is raw ND undercooked its kinda hard not to say anything. So she took it back andthe other 2 ppl was done eating and it still didn't come back out. So I just told them to.put it in a to go back. I hope theservice is better for the next one. God bless u all. As Otr truck driver I have ordered brownie bites from various locations, however this is the first time I was given a baby size... piece of brownie and definitely won’t be ordering from this location again. 4/10/22 tried to give them the benefit of doubtand try it again and this is how my chicken turned out burnt. The food is... always high quality & the wait time is little to none, always pleased with high quality service here.
