Update (11-7-22): We fell in love with this place the first time we visited but we've been back several times and brought... friends and family members and I'm sad to say the consistency of the food has suffered since our first trips here. Don't get mewrong, when they nail it, they nail it and we all smile, but they been missing the head of the nail more times than not latelyso I have to keep it real and drop my 5 rating to a 3. I KNOW how difficult it is to run a restaurant, keep good qualityemployees, and be consistent meal after meal so I'm willing to try them again in hopes that they return to the Squirrel we firstfell in love with. Here's hoping! Passed this place up on my first glance because I figured it was just another bar with barfood but I was wrong. The decor is awesome and we sat outside to eat our meal which is always a plus for us. We ordered theRumpke Mountain Nachos w/ ground beef and it was delicious and enough for four hungry people! I ordered the fish tacos and I?deat them again and again. Just enough breading to fry them and a good mix of slaw and dressing to top off the fish. My wifehad a Caesar salad which she claimed was very good along with some fried shrimp which were tender and sweet inside. I shared aHeavenly BBQ Burger which was slightly over cooked per my request but tender and tasty just the same, and a Spicy ItalianGrinder with a side of Mac & Cheese. I was thinking I was going to be disappointed with the grinder but the meat was good andwell portioned for the bun. A slightly softer bun would have made the sandwich perfect! The Mac & cheese was delicious andmuch better than the mediocre stuff you get at so many places these days. The onion rings were equally good. We?ll definitelybe back again and so should you! Nice open atmosphere, parking well you might have to walk a little bit, it's on the hill top and some of the other businesses... don't like you parking in their area's LOL. (recommend to the owner buy out the rest of the slumpy businesses and turn theminto parking ;) ) ~Large bar area with everything available, plenty of bar seating enough for about 40+ stools. ~Sofa andlounge chairs available around the bar area (drinks only) so drink, enjoy and wait for a table to open up. ~Plenty of seatingall throughout the entire place, usually a good mix in mingle crowd and everyone is pretty friendly. ~Service staff was verypolite, friendly and helpful, has a home feel. ~If your going to bring your "Children"... please bring them on a weekendafternoon or in the afternoon. Let the ADULTS have their time without "Children" running around, most of us ADULTS are tryingto take a break from all of that stuff. Also keep in mind it is mainly a pub/bar why would you bring your "children"? ~The menuis pretty limited for a bar/restaurant - I had the chicken wings (overly breaded and a bit too salty) they were also a bitover cooked. - Fries, just normal fries nothing fancy - Mac&Cheese, it was good but was missing that pop of flavor, (salt andpepper) Bar was clean and has multiple bartenders All the open tables (very few) were all clean For a Friday night not toopacked but very busy, I sat next to a repeat customer at the bar. They told me Friday Night, Saturday Night were pretty busyand usually standing room only. It's a great place for singles for mixing and mingling. This place is by no means a dive bar,they have class and the place has a level of elegance. The only thing they need to improve to get a 5 star from me is the menuand the food quality. Maybe hire a professional chef to advise and train the staff a bit. I will be coming back here as it isa nice spot to visit. Cheers! Read more

Great food, reasonable prices. The portions are big so don't think you can finish the appetizer and the entree with less than 3... people. My wife and I could have been filled with one appetizer and one entree. But you each their own! Also the cocktails are abit stiff. Read more
Checked out this place for the first time and the food was delicious. Great beer selection and the atmosphere is really nice. If... you order the nachos, do not order anything else! It's enough to feed 3 people but they were delicious! Only complaint was thatit took a while to get our food but didn't mind as much once the food came out and tasted so good. Will be back! Read more
Definitely a great time at Blind Squirrel, with many drink choices, which can be overwhelming to decide. Thanks to the super... nice bartender, she helped us choose and let us sample a beer to narrow down our choices. Looking forward to going backhopefully soon to this cool Bar! Read more
Great new addition to Florence! One of the largest bar areas around and lots of seating available. We ordered the Hangover Easy... burger with fries and the Toasted Spicy Italian Grinder with mac and cheese. The burger had good flavor, but was slightlyovercooked and somewhat dry. The Italian sandwich however was excellent. Prices are average to slightly above average. Ourservice was friendly and attentive but our food did take a while so keep that in mind. I came here after work. I was expecting a bar and grill I was pleasantly surprised to find a light weight upscale kind of place.... I thought they were open till 11 but found out they were open till 10 so I ordered my food to go and had a drink while watchingthe game. Nice place a little on the pricey side but I will be back the fish tacos were amazing !!! Read more
