I love their fish sandwich, but I wish they would bring back... the rye bun and the broccoli needs to be steamed not blanched, it's always to hard to eat. Great service. I?ve been frequenting this Frisch?s for years. They are fortunate to have one of the best servers I?ve ever seen in any... restaurant, Bill Hutchens. Bill is extremely friendly, competent and efficient. He literally runs from one place to another totake care of his customers. And if anything is ever wrong, he?s eager to make it right. I never write reviews, but this was just awful. Arrived around 6:45pm we were handed menus and silverware and told to seat... ourselves. Was greated in a relatively okay time. We ordered drinks first, then food. We sat waiting for our food for over halfan hour. She never checked on us to refill our drinks or even let us know if the kitchen was behind. We literally sat andwatched our server and another server leaning over the counter talking to the cooks. At a little over half an hour of watchingthem talk to the cooks, we left. Read more
Breakfast bar: For $13, there were empty pans. If you charge thirteen dollars for breakfast food, do not leave empty pans, on... your buffet. Server was obviously not happy with her job. She might need to look at a different line of work. The food that wasstocked, was tasty. Its been a few years since I've been to Frisch's. They upped the price before covid, stating it was new andimproved. Yet, nothing was new, and nothing was improved. In fact, items they had a few years ago, were not even there. A bit understaffed, so things were slow, but that is not a detractor in my review. Fish sandwich was cooked well, the bun was... nice and airy, but the fish itself was a bit flavorless. The onion rings were also on the colder side. The pancakes were moistand buttery and the table side service was good. The biggest negative is flavorless fish and cold-room temp onion rings. Read more
