Unfortunately, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. We went there right when it opened and there were very few people inside... as well. My friend and I had gone to Kopan today for lunch and while the doppokki and sushi were delicious we had a badincident with our waiter, Troy. When looking at the sushi menus I wasn?t sure the prices for some with everything being halfoff so sought clarification. Regarding the nigiri sushi, I was trying to figure out how many came with an order and how much itwas for that. In hindsight, I think the waiter was confused but didn?t seek to clarify. As he?d told me the price and two camewith an order but you could order more or even one if you wanted. It wasn?t noticed until later but, additionally the waiterhad given me ?white tuna? instead of ?tuna? as well. At the time of the bill, it became apparent that the price for the sushiwas double what I?d expected. When Troy came back I tried to bring it up and he?d said that that is the correct price. I triedto mention that this was exactly what I?d asked him about earlier and he?d told me otherwise. He said nothing in response. Itried to end it by saying maybe in the future try to clarify but he grabbed the check with my card and swiftly walked awaycutting me off in the middle of my sentence. This is my faaaaaavorite place for Korean food, the atmosphere is really good, the staff is suuuuuuper nice and friendly and the... food is WOW! Totally loved it, you definitely need to give a try. Read more

We're here a lot! The new owner has added a couple of fresh menu items we're excited to try. Sadly, they no longer have the... Ozeki Dry we always loved mixing with the plum wine, but the plum sake is pretty good, and the grapefruit one was surprisinglytasty, too. Gina makes great recommendations if you're undecided or want to try something new. Prices are always better here fora nice dinner for 2 than any place else we go. Highly recommend! Read more
First time here. Was looking for sushi, and found a nice spicy tuna roll with the right heat level. And ordered the wings just... to try a Korean version. Started sweet but then the heat kicked a little on the back end. Nice! Flats are better than dummiestho. Still, want to try more from this place! Read more
My partner and I used to love going to Kopan in Florence, KY. But they've gone downhill. The last 3 times we've been there the... sizes of the sushi rolls are ridiculously small. Not worth the price. Same with the appetizers. We'll be going to Wabi Sabi inCovington from now on where you get what you paid for with better service. Read more
This was the some of the best food and best service I've had. The waitress was attentive, polite, knowledgeable and did an... amazing job serving us. We never had to ask for anything and our cups were never empty. She gave great recommendations and thefood was perfect. I will definitely be back! Read more
