What an atmosphere! The beer list is second to none in Northern KY. The Whiskey list is also expansive, and the staff know... what they are talking about. Our meal was just outstanding. Our party of five all ordered burgers, and were blown away. Locally sourced beef that is marinated from the inside with spent mash from local distilleries. The Brussel Sprouts and HushPuppies for appetizers are the play. Looking forward to coming back to spend more time enjoying the menu and Service Team. Just a great group of folks. Read more
Huge portions! My husband and I both ordered burgers and they were delicious. I had the Ronald and he had the Bacon Pimento... Cheese. They come with a side so I tried the sweet potato waffle fries and he had tots. It was a large amount of food for theprice. Our service was good and food was prepared fairly quickly. Only negative for me is that it is almost all hightop tableseating. Read more
It was a great place to go to have some beer flights and food! I loved the tacos and how there were so many great beer options!... The food came out super fast! I was very impressed. Our server Abbey was awesome! It was very relaxing to sit on the patio andwatch the planes fly in. Definitely would come back if I'm ever in the area again. Read more

If you haven't been to 859 in a while, I definitely recommend that you return and give it another try. The new owners, Jeff and... Mandy Kaplan, have done a really fantastic job at turning this place around. They both have a lot of experience in thehospitality and food industry. They have an outstanding bourbon selection that focuses on unique releases and single barrelselections. Tons of TVs. The draft list is incredible! Why go to Yard House when you can come here? I was very impressed withthe focus on craft beers and seasonal releases, but they have all of the domestic and international classics too. The food isbar fare with a few unique additions. I loved the burger with the 859 bourbon sauce. The buffalo chicken dip is excellent, andeveryone was raving about the shrimp tacos. The service is super friendly and attentive. They even sell growlers of beer andbottles of bourbon to go. I am looking forward to coming back. Read more
We stopped here for a late lunch while passing through. He had the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and I had the shrimp tacos. ... Both were spicy and delicious. The waitress was able to offer some suggestions for beer based on what I told her I liked. Read more
This time around, I got a ????, and it was good, but I'll go back to the fish tacos next time, which are fabulous and a... fantastic price on taco Tuesday. Beer selection was a little slim. I wish they would offer appetizers on their happy hour,which I think is 4 to 6. I ordered a side salad and it was very good and substantial, really, it would have been enough. I would say it's a pass for me... Appetizer was excellent We had cheese curds the burgers not so much The Ronald was cooked... properly medium and was a lil light on the thousand island. Y'all cheddar Burger was cooked properly medium but a lil drylikely due to the dense bun. I didn't get alot of flavor from the burgers... the lil char mark gave it some definition offlavor. But the fries where terrible... Both of our orders of fries are old... "Now I worked at McDonald's and these where theequivalent of the hard fries left over from yesterday in the corners of the fry bin" ... So you could literally snap and crumblethem they where so hard... So they replaced them... and they where not great but they where hot and not petrified. The shrimptacos where good and came with good tortilla chips and Pico. The blue moon beer was flat... And I loved that they give you ahuge glass of coke... however I drank most of it after spitting out the petrified fry..."so bitter" I dunno if they wereunderstaffed... and had to flag down another server for my refill so I could finish eating while everyone else was done. It justwasn't a good experience mainly due to the food experience which is a kitchen issue... I imagine they make fries and bin them...So they likely did not empty the old fries before adding new ones....BUT those fries seemed way too old... like beginning of dayor yesterday old. Read more
