Decided to eat here Halloween night so the kids could get the Scary Face pancakes for free. To start with, we waited a good 45... minutes before receiving our food even though the restaurant was mostly empty. My Colorado omelet was good, but that was aboutthe only thing. My bacon was cold. My wife's eggs were cold. She did not receive her sausage at first. She had to ask for it,and when it was brought to her, it was only 1 piece when it should have been 2. The toast my wife was brought was hard as arock! She had to get the waitress to bring fresh toast. The kid's pancakes were ok even though they didn't have the same stuffon them as the pictured ones. (grapes instead of strawberries, chocolate chips instead of candy corn which was fine). The kid'shashbrowns where undercooked on the top and burnt on the bottom. When we advised the manager of this, she stated that it was"because they were wet". When the bill was brought to us, the pancakes were not listed as free. We were charged for both of thekid's pancakes. When the waitress was advised of this, she stated that she was unaware of the promotion even though it wasposted on EVERY table in the restaurant! They had to take the receipt back twice to fix this because the first time, thewaitress tried to remove the charges herself, but she didn't remove the full amount of the cost. The manager had to revise itherself. After describing the rest of the issues to the manager, she seemed unphased and uncaring and did not offer to provideany sort of reconciliation for the poor food and experience we had here. I've been there twice and each time both of the ladies that served my table with excellent so they have a great service. I'm... telling you they are wonderful but the thing that got to me. Some of the employees were very loud in the back and use words thatI call substitute words or you can say profanity. That wasn't good coming from the back knowing this supposed to be a publicplace I think you should always be professional especially if you ask for the job. Read more
I want to commend our server for her exceptional service.We had breakfast at the David Mcleod store in Florence SC. Jessica was... our server, from the first contact we had with her she was pleasant, she smiled and remained that way our entire meal.I feltvery welcome and not like an imposition. Jessica went the extra mile and warmed my coffee cup before she brought it out. Iwatched her interact with her other customers and every single interaction was VIP service. I saw a little boy ask her where thebathroom was, she walked him to the bathroom instead of pointing. Jessica has all the traits that make up a great employee. Iwatched her pick up trash that others walked over and I could tell she takes pride in what she does. By far one of the bestservers we have encountered in a very long time anywhere. Fairly consistent menu, decent prices and food options, tho not a lot of your vegan (I'm not). The coffee is good! It was busy... but didn't have a long wait at all. Servers were good. Read more
I waited over an hour for 2 plates of chicken tenders, one sirloin steak and 4 pancakes. This is beyond ridiculous!! The food... was salty and dry. No friendly customer service either. For as much as I paid, I expected better and quicker service. I wouldn?trecommend this location to anyone, trust me it?s not worth losing an hour and paying for overpriced below average meals. First, the restaurant was very dirty. Should have turned around and left when I saw that. I got my soda in a glass that had... dried up food on it. Again, should have left at that. Ordered my food. Guess the cook thought I made a mistake, because he gaveme what he thought I should have. Now I had to wait while they cooked my actual order. In the meantime my friend got and ate hermeal. I will absolutely never go there again. There are too many good restaurants out there that actually care and try. Read more
I would normally never step foot in an IHOP but I was desperate for coffee and breakfast driving down 95. Cornell, my server had... a very upbeat and positive attitude. Made my experience friendly and inviting. My food However was a mess. Worst coffee I evertasted and it was a fresh pot because my first cup was served filled with grinds in it and cheese on the side of the mug. Iordered over medium eggs and was served eggs that were hardly over easy, completely gooey with white slim. The menu offersturkey bacon but I was told they only had turkey sausage. I was completely okay with that and it was the best thing on my dish.My toast was served dry and no butter on side or table. Not Really sure where the problems start in this place but cleanliness,laziness, and lack of organization seem to stand out. Read more
I will give this restaurant 3 start. First we had to wait like 10 minutes to be seated when there was no one in the restaurant.... All employees were in lala land. Tasha was our waitress super friendly the coffee came out super fast but then she disappearedand we had to wait 15 minutes to order. The other table got theirs food before us even though we got their like 20 minutesbefore them. Anyways I was just passing by but next time will go to another restaurant for sure. Read more
