My husband and I are just passing through Florence, SC on our way to Canada. We always make a point to eat at a Olive Garden. ... This location was close to our hotel. I read recent reviews and even though they didn't sound positive, we still chose to goand we are glad we did. First of all, the service was perfect. Our waitress was very cheerful, quick and good at her job.Secondly, we ordered the soup, salad and breadsticks special, our favorite meal after a long drive. The Tuscan soup is ourfavorite, 3 bowls later. I give a 5 star for food and service because they deserve it, 4 star for atmosphere as its a littledusty on the lights and needs some updating. My husband ordered us Olive Garden while passing through. We weren’t given silverware, enough bread , we had no options for... salad dressing and 1 tomato and 1 olive in this big salad. If we ordered 2 entrees why were we given 2 pieces of bread? How am Isupposed to eat? My spaghetti was hard but flavorful . Borderline salty marinara. Dinner was very leisurely. However, staffing and timely food availability was an issue. Customer Service was attentive and... kind. Food was well prepared and tasty. Facilities were somewhat worn and by far cleaner than many greater Florence restaurantsin which we have dined. Recommendable with considerations. We will dine here again in the future. Read more

We had a good experience visiting this Olive Garden in Florence during a recent road trip to Florida. Our waitress Sheena was... nice and the food came out quickly. This was by far the worst experience I have EVER had at Olive Garden. First we had to wait for half an hour, but that was OK.... Next we ordered our meals and were told there would be a further wait due to the kitchen was backed up. Ok that was alrightbut.... No salad or bread sticks until AFTER our entre arrived and then we had to ask twice.... Finally the salad had HUGEchunks of onion. I love red onions but they were HUGE..... Read more
