The food was delicious. The flavors were well balanced and the meat was all cooked perfectly. The servers were delightful to... interact with and knowledgeable about the menu. A member of our party had celiacs and they server knew thoroughly what was safefor her to eat. She had no problems at all which is a rare experience when going out to eat. Excellent. Almost perfect. The good was that the food was delicious, clean, well executed, for sure. The server Zak was very... good. The decor is very nice. I would definitely go back there. I took off one star because of minor things. One is that thehostess tried to deter us from going there saying that the manger said not to take any more reservations that night because theyhad a lot of large parties. I wanted to come at 5pm and be out by 6. I was deterred but pushed and after talking to the managerthey said I could come in but no reservation. By the time we left at 6pm there were only a couple people at the bar and the restof the restaurant was still empty!!! I’ve been to many 4 & 5 star restaurants. This place was underwhelming. The appetizers were better than the entrees. They... tried to short my wife by giving her one medallion of mahi-mahi with some potatoes and charge her $35 for it. The purée undermy steak was cold and the steak itself had no flavor. They corrected her plate by adding two more fish medallions on her plateand replaced my steak with chicken and Lima beans but the beans were undercooked and hard. My boyfriend and I are regulars at town hall and come for every special occasion because it’s truly that good! I’m... originally from Charlotte NC and I can say that it definitely beats most of the restaurants up there in terms of food quality,service and overall atmosphere. Our server Victoria was outstanding and super friendly and one of our past servers Sabra alwaysrecognizes us! Definitely a must try if you live near the florence area. Read more
