Could?ve been 4 maybe even 5 stars if the service was better. French onion soup was delicious. Barrel burger was very tasty. ... Pizza was also good. Wings were meh. Probably could?ve been cooked more for another minute. Problem was by far the service. No attention to the customers once the food was brought. Empty water glasses. Requested water multiple times. Loved Barrel 28! We ordered a bunch of apps, including the coconut shrimp, calamari, quesadilla, pretzels and the chaetucherie... board which was all delicious!! My personal favorite was the coconut shrimp. I had the beat and goat cheese salad and addedshrimp which was awesome! The best part is the shrimp were nice and big (often times that isn't the case when you add them to asalad). My husband had the prime rib sandwich and said it was great! Kids had pizza which was yummy too! Friends also had theprime rib sandwich and they also loved it. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend! Read more
Stopped off for lunch after a morning of apple picking in the area. The server we had was exceptional. He was attentive and... always had a smile. Food was decent kids enjoyed the pizza. The food is amazing at Barrel 28. Dana is the best waitress! Can?t wait to come back with our friends. First visit and impressed. Food was good, service was great. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Was warmly greeted coming and... going. Burger was jucy and cooked well. Fish and chips were crispy and not greasy. Personal pizza was really good. Calamari waswell seasoned tender. Kids loved the pretzel. Will be back to try more. Read more
