We used to eat here, before we moved to Warrenton, but tonight wasn't a good night. We went to eat there with friends, when we... got there, the dishwasher was eating supper where customers could see him and the way he acted was I don't like it here. Therewas a bartender and a server. The tables had the dishes off but was dirty. The cook burned the toast on my friends sandwich. Theserver told the cook and he looked like he was just insulted. The server brought my friend 2 new pieces if bread, but they werecold. The French fries and tater tops were fried in oil that tasted like it was used all weekend. Really good food for a bar, and nice chill atmosphere. I can't speak for the more sporty side, but my husband and I are fans and... hope to be regulars. I had one dine in and one pickup. GET THE JALEPEÑO POPPER DIP. And the French dip sandwich. Omg. Both areso good. The French dip au jus was spicy, salty, oh so good. My pickup was done probably a while before my pickup time, so maybego a little early if you order online so you get it at its hottest. But we love this bar and appreciate it being just down thestreet from us. Read more
We have ordered here before in person and it was pretty good. But the last couple times we ordered to go the food was dry and... over cooked, barely edible. We both had the southern chicken sandwich this time and the chicken was dry, overcooked, very grittyand then we had to wait 30 mins past the point it was supposed to be done for gross food. I don?t know why it?s such adifference in to go over in person but we will not be back for either option any time soon. Check your food before you leave ismy suggestion. Read more

We stumbled on this place while passing through St. Louis. It looked really crowded inside(good sign) and I asked a woman going... in if the food was good. Yes! so we went in. She said, Sit anywhere, as she sat with her family, so we sat at some stools at anisland. I was worried no one would notice us (again, packed) but within a couple of minutes the waitress Erin swung by, droppedoff menus, came by again, took orders for iced tea, and then came back again to take our orders. Friendly, knowledgable, andfast. We ordered a combo fish plate and a french dip. Oh, and two Guinesses, on tap. The kitchen was fast, the food was reallygood, the Guiness was creamy. Every time I go, I get the fish taco. It?s an appetizer and I get it on taco Tuesday. It is AMAZING!!! This was my first time... getting fried cod. ???? This time I got a side salad too and it was so good! The service is usually fast. Today wasn?t as fastbut it was worth it plus my server was working alone. My friend got a veggie pizza and it was good as well! Just like everythingthey make here, the ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order. My friends and I will definitely be back!
