Thanksgiving dinner for 2 was hugely disappointing, except the little salad. The food was dry and no flavor.

Dunnings market has been around for 25 years I love everything about it, the food is always delicious and the service is always... on point everyone should try it at least once!! they have many delicious sandwiches and not to mention awesome catering forevery occasion. I particularly like the salmon! but there are so many things to choose from. The owner Maureen Mader Isalways kind and caring and does so much for the community of Flossmoor. I learned about this place 2 years ago. The selection of meats and cheeses are great. However, some of the food is not seasoned... good. I paid 15 bucks for a steak at their out door event last year and it was terrible. The past two years the place has gonedown. A colleague of mine got burnt salmon from them before. Prices have gone up and portions are smaller now. I do understandthe pandemic and inflation are factors. Some of the staff seem like they have a problem understanding and taking orders. Abunch of kids who play around and don't take their job serious. I'm all for hiring young people but they should go through anextensive training on how to deal with customers. The owner is mean, heartless, and careless. I feel it is time for them to goand give another business their space. There is nothing special about this place. Any other Deli will do because it's the onlyDeli in downtown Flossmoor. Most people here won't tell the truth. I know I'm speaking for a lot of people who are afraid to sayanything. Read more

Went for a great event, the cooking challenge. Was a great time, would give 5 stars, but if you plan an event, please specify if... smoking is allowed. The event was outdoors, which I don't think was a problem to smoke, but the Flossmoor policeman asked me notto smome under the tent. Tent is still outside. You have to make that known. Egg sandwich is my fav ???????????????? and their wine selection ????????

It was my first time here. I had the jerk chicken burger. You have to tell them the toppings you want on the burger. I didn?t... know this so my burger consisted of a patty, sauce, on pretzel bread. The patty is tasty. I wish it came pre-made with lettuceand tomatoes. The wait was long because there were only two workers. They had free dessert samples that were really good. It was very disappointing to unpack my lunch to find burnt and overcooked salmon in my salad and on the sandwich. I?ve... purchased the fresh Scottish salmon salads dozens of times, but this might be my last. Not only was the salmon overcooked andburnt, the portion was reduced. It appeared as if someone attempted to hide the burnt underside of the salmon, by removing italtogether. I also ordered soup, which was not heated before selling. I really enjoyed ordering from Dunning?s, and have oftentreated friends, family and colleagues to the salmon salad, in particular. Today, however, was unacceptable! Read more
