I used to love coming here a lot but I've gotta say lately they seem to have gone down hill. I went back a couple times recently... and it seems they were forced to make lots of changes through the pandemic. Now the whole food/drink ordering process isextremely tedious and inconvenient, having to be entirely done on ones phone. Worse yet is that once I got my food, it was muchworse quality than i remember it being years ago. Before it tasted freshly made and now I wouldn't be surprised if they aremicrowaving things. The theaters are nice. With the recliners i could see well even from the second row. There food is below average. The... flourtown location never had good food but some of the older ones had pretty decent food in the early days. If it was a littlebetter it might be worth getting. I had a nice experience, great soft seats that fully recline, good movie sound and quality for Minions rise of Gru, and the... attendant stayed after to help my daughter find her sunglasses which fell into the seat crevice.I?m not sure why the reviews areso low. Nice theater. Picture and sound were spot on. Food was ordered ahead of time and was delivered within just a few minutes of... being seated. Food was excellent and served hot The only drawback was that a toddler was permitted in the theater and proceededto cause problems throughout the movie. I don't understand how management allowed that to happen. Read more
My first time attending a movie theatre since the pandemic. The theatre is visibly clean and seems sanitized as well as the... bathroom. We were a group of three generations to view "The Movie Batman". Food is ordered via phone app and brought out to yourseat. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles and it was SO DELICIOUS! First time at any Movie Tavern location and first at a move theather since covid... I wasn't ready. It was Tuesday; therefore,... the tickets were much cheaper than the regular price and they gave out a small free popcorn. I love that there are food choicesbeyond the usual Movie theater snacks - i.e., popcorn, soda, candy, etc. However, I ordered pretzel bites as I was leaving andthey were very fresh and delicious. I did not feel comfortable eating in the theater because seating was not spaced out andpeople had their masks off while eating. Otherwise, the seats were recliners and were comfortable and the theater (area I wassitting in & bathroom) appeared to be clean. When the covid breakout numbers go down, I'll come back. Read more
I live nearby and have been here often. The picture quality & audio are good, but the Service is always spotty here. Since the... pandemic, they?ve stopped seat service, so you now have to pick up food & drinks from the bar, forcing you to miss part of themovie if you didn?t know to order beforehand. This movie theater is just great. Quality of the screens is good, sound is amazing too. Seats are comfortable and I like that it... is a lot of space for legs. Selection of foods and drinks is good enough bot nothing exceptional. Prices are fair and the staffis helpful and polite. Read more
