First - I love Mediterranean food. So when I saw the sign I was interested. It is tucked back in a shopping area so I wasn't... expecting a lot. But oh wow! First, the trio of dips was fabulous! The humus was great..but wow the beet dip was sweet andDelicious. I had to try the cabbage rolls... My mom made them and I'm hard to please. They were great! A lil hidden gem of FLOMO! I was really impressed with Istanbul cuisine, the restaurant is unassuming but you walk in to very... friendly and attentive staff, tables with a pretty teal tablecloth and over turned water glasses which were promptly turned andfilled. The food was fresh and delicious, honestly couldn’t ask for anything more! The hummus and pink sultan are NOT to bemissed with the hot & fresh pita. The chicken shush kabob & gyro platter were both flavorful and refreshing! The only thing Iwould say I wished for was extending the lunch menu to weekends, but still worth it. Visited for lunch for the first time today, so I wasn't sure what to expect, and my wife is generally more inclined to go for... Mediterranean cuisine than I am. But wow(!), this was such a fantastic experience. Not only is the food delicious (I had theSultan's delight), but the staff is courteous and so very welcoming.
