This place is off the hook!!! Every thing I order is awesome. Everything is fresh and authentic. Whoa, the salsa is fresh but... lit me up pretty good. They are not stingy with their guacamole either. Also, very clean. Read more

Love the horchata. The breakfast burritos are big and delicious, but I got a plain cheese quesadilla for my kids and that one... highlights how good the tortillas are. They taste homemade for sure. I also love the convenience of the drive thru. Read more

Stopped here for some tortas and was not disappointed. We also ordered fries with them not knowing they would be huge... ????\n\nFood was great, fries could have used a bit more salt but that\'s just me. We definitely stop again next time I\'m inthe area to try something else.\n\nAlso a plus that they have a drive through! ???? Read more

Not an authentic California taco, because all the taco stands from Morrow Bay to SD serve fresh food. The flavors are familiar,... but nothing was cooked fresh at all.\n\nWent for late lunch around 1pm. Only 3 employees in the place, one was on break. Ordereda burrito and taco and flan, my friend ordered a chicken quesadilla and elote. Everything came out fast and hot. Yay!Unfortunately all the food was reheated either in a microwave or on the flat top grill. Quesadilla was drowned in a pool ofchicken water from the meat as it was reheated. The meat on my burrito was dry and super chewy (maybe cooked yesterday?) Theshrimp had no grill marks (or flavor) and was rubbery too. They fried the shrimp on my taco instead of grilled like Iordered.\n\nThere were some highlights. They whipped up a new grilled taco for me when I pointed out the fried shrimp. Theburrito was huge and the taco was stuffed full too. Prices were reasonable. They have agua fresca. Best part was the flan, butValerie?s does not make or assemble it in house. Lol.\n\nI?ve been to this place several times since they opened early July thisyear. It hasn?t improved at all. They have recently paid for another round of 5 star reviews, so be warned. Read more

I stopped in today AFTER I already had lunch at Whole Foods. So, all I ordered was a Veggie Soft Taco. It was very enjoyable! ... This is not a Tex-Mex shop, but rather an authentic Mexican Taco Shop with a huge menu! If all the food is as good as my softshell taco the food is very good!!\n\nI believe this is the third restaurant in this location. I believe a problem with thelocation is the signage. It?s almost impossible to know this place is here unless you are specifically looking for it. I wishthem great success, so I?m helping spread the word.\n\nGive them a try, and I?m confident you won?t be disappointed. They areNOT open on Sunday in part because of not being able to hire employees for Sunday. Read more

Food was amazing. I got the grilled shrimp burrito, added in sour cream, gauc & cheese w/ a side of refried beans. By far... exceeded my expectations. It was DELICIOUS. Check out the menu in advance. Too many good choices. It took just a few minutes toget food. So glad they?ve joined the neighborhood. I will be back to try the brisket fries & more. Read more

The one thing we missed in San Diego, CA were the taco shops. We don?t have a need to EVER go back. These... burritos/tacos/churros/etc are just like home. The Valarie?s chain started in San Diego and has slowly added other areas and toother states. We are so glad they are 5 minutes away from home. Read more
