This is probably not a typical review for Z Grill, but I really wanted to mention what a wonderful experience we had there. We... visited on a Sunday afternoon, which is clearly not their busiest time, in fact with the exception of a few guys at the barwatching football we were the only ones there. The food was great, vastly exceeding expectations and our server, who I suspectis either the owner or manager, was friendly, prompt, and had more than a few good jokes. After we ate he even offered to turnon the stage lights and music to let my three year old daughter do some dancing! She absolutely loved it and had a blast. Isaw that their main business seems to be live music, I will keep an eye out for shows I would like to see, but honestly if youare looking for a nice place to watch a game on Sunday you cannot go wrong! An old favorite that we have neglected. Great bartender. "Cheers" feel of regulars. Yummy bar food and good beer, drink... selection. HUGE burger! We will be more regular! Read more

Keep your receipts! Additional gratuity was added to the final bill. Even though I left 23% tip, the server decided to increase... it to 77% of the total tab. Luckily I kept my receipt and was able to dispute with the credit card. However, this speak to theintegrity of the establishment. Avoid this place so that you do not get scammed! Read more
This is my home town restaurant. Plus I've played more jazz, big band, and party band dates there than I can count. Shawn Mash... works hard to keep live music playing in Flower Mound, and I'd love to see Z Grill & Tap thrive. Watch the calendar for themusic you want. Read more
Everyone here is always very nice to me. They have a badass layout inside, setup for events, bands, corn hole, drinking, etc... etc. Popular live music certain nights of the week, I never seem to find that with other places around here. An addition + at ZGrill & Tap is the food* The pasta is excellent*. Sean the owner is always around and approaches patrons and introduces himself.I like what Sean's doing here and will continue to support his spot. So much potential. Read more
Sean is the welcome wagon man here, his Italian is as strong as his open Texas heart. The menu is complete, all from scratch... from Italian heritage with all kick-butt pastas, plus burgers, steaks and salads you’ll come back for this mamma’s cook’n.The Wed music is the flower mound crowd pleaser. New to the area and found this bar/grill. The atmosphere is great, and there’s was live music the night I went. I came for... dinner and drink, and I was not disappointed with the service nor the food. Will definitely check it out again. Read more
