We loved it the first time around but the second time it was not good at all. We ordered a Chicken burrito with cheese dip but... the burrito tasted like pure sour cream no cheese at all and we also ordered the chicken and shrimp nachos and the nachos had notaste all at. Edit: Tried it again the other night and it was great! Great atmosphere. And yes, that salsa was super yummy! Our drinks were... good. The carne asada in both our tacos and nachos was still made perfectly! Definitely has potential. I've ordered a couple oftimes and each time they have forgotten salsa for the tacos which leads to dry tacos ???? however, the food has good flavor.The carne asada in both tacos and nachos is delish. I'm so glad there is finally another great option for Mexican food in the Oakwood area. Rene is a wonderful host and the food is... excellent, No over powering flavors very balanced, ingredients are fresh and tasty. We loved this place before and we love it now! The restaurant is under new management so the menu has changed a little. It's... still exceptionally good. We stopped in for lunch so no drinks this time. I has the chillaquiles. Some good old comfort food!My chilaquiles were excellent. My wife is cilantro-challenged but she loved their salsa. It had a nice subtle heat and waslight on the cilantro. The decor is very nice as well. They were playing Latin jazz while I was there. Some great timbale andclave music. No Vicente Fernandez, who, incidentally is mi favorito, but maybe next time. This place is still an amazingrestaurant so stop by and enjoy! Read more
