I really want to like Shogun given I absolutely love Japanese food and it?s the one Japanese restaurant close to my area... however, time after time I forget that they do not clean their shrimp for shrimp tempura meal or the shrimp tempura roll. This was my first time eating here.My boyfriend had been looking for it. He ate a one in Gastonia, NC. I step out of my shell... and had salmon with the yum yum sauce OMG amazing!!! For the price of the filet mignon there wasn't very much meat. The steak was overcooked as well as the chicken. We were... dissappinted in the food. The steak reminded me of cubed steak with how over done and chewy it was. The soup was just plainbroth. There wasnt anything in it but a soggy onion. We wont be going back. This was a take out order. It may be better if youeat there but the takeout wasnt very impressive considering it costs 55 dollars for two meals. Read more
