Would highly recommend! Everyone was very welcoming! We ordered kalguksu and seafood pancake for lunch. The portion size is... pretty big, so make sure you come hungry! The kalguksu had such a delicious soft chewy texture and the broth wasn?t heavy. Theseafood pancake is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. They provide 2 sauces on the side (honey soy sauce and veggie soy sauce) as well as 2small side dishes (kimchi and soy sauce based pickled radish). I don?t enjoy overly seasoned/salty dishes so it was perfect forme, if not they have other condiments on the side for you. Read more

Pretty good noodle shop. Just one of their bowls alone will fill you up. However if you have the stomach to try their other... appetizers, the seafood pancake with bacon and their deep fried dumplings with bonito are pretty good. Bring some family orfriends to help you hahaha. As for noodle soup, I like their seafood or bbq noodle soup long noodles. For you spice fans, getextra spicy. Read more

Absolutely one of the noteworthy hidden gems in Queens for Korean food. The place specializes in noodles and soondubu, which are... of course done wonderfully, but the seafood pancake may have been the highlight. The portions are substantial, and service istop-notch. We came near closing time (sorry!) but the hostess was very accommodating and even ensured that we could get extrabanchan and rice packed to go. Read more

Daesung Korean Noodle was recommended by a staff from Jang Dok Dae, which is one of our favorite spots for authentic Korean... food. She told us their wide noodles and seafood pancake are the best in her opinion. Their options for noodles are in a greatvariety and we had a bowl of Clam Wide Noodles, Beef Bulgogi Cold Noodles, Oyster Soft Tofu Stew and Seafood Oko Pancake toshare with a group of four. The portion was great enough and we even needed to pack leftovers to go with a reasonableprice. The food was overall decent, especially the pancake, which was crispy and full of great amount of flavorful ingredients.I also love their wide noodles, between chewy & soft and matched with tasty clam broth. My husband preferred their refreshingand appetizing cold noodles. One thing we were a little disappointed was their sides, not as various as other Koreanrestaurants. It?s pretty popular and crowded during the peak so we highly recommend to visit earlier. Read more

Great experience, got here around 7:30pm and had to wait a few minutes for a table. We orders a seafood pancake with bacon, a... fish cake, beef bulgogi, and pork bulgogi tofu noodle soups and they were all excellent. The pancake was by far one of the bestI've had. Not too much batter and lots of filling. The pancake comes out on a hot plate and it keeps warm and hot for awhile.Their kimchi is made in house and taste really good. We end up buying two small pints of their pickle dikon radish. I'lldefinitely come back and try other dishes. Read more

Came for the noodles and left obsessed with the pancakes. That?s not to say the noodles weren?t good. Both the kalguksu and... sujebi were fresh and springy with plenty of seafood and a piping hot broth in a portion large enough to feed two. The main starof dinner however, was the seafood and bacon oko pancake. Its crispy edges, thickness and tenderness in the middle, slightsaltiness of the bacon and heaps of seafood makes my mouth water just remembering the taste. Skimping is most definitely not aproblem at this restaurant. Staff here are like your typical Asian aunties; friendly but quick and efficient. Every time Ivisit, the place has been clean, cozy and warm. It?s an ideal spot for a hearty meal. Read more

This place specializes on two types of food so I'm not surprised that they're both really good. The seafood(w/ bacon) pancake... was super crispy and packed with seafood in it. For the noodles the broth was very warming on a cold day. I think they maketheir own noodles or something. They had a nice bite to them. I also like how they have a little cubby next to the tables thathold everything you need like sou sauce and utensils. Oh one pro tip on using their sou sauce, put your finger on the blackpart on the top then tilt to pour THEN lift your finger. Please don't be like me and make a mess everywhere. Read more
