A hidden gem in orange Beach, I was wanting something different and seen this place on the list of restaurants. I went into... order and asked a couple locals of their opinions of what to eat. I ended up with Desmonds platter which contained jerk chicken,shrimp, fish and pork with collard greens and rice. This place was amazing!!!! One of my favorites now, I enjoyed every lastbite I took. The restaurant was clean the staff was very nice and the food was amazing. I would recommend to anyone wanting adifferent taste at the beach. Definitely worth the try!!! Read more

This place is such an unexpected gem near Gulf Shores! I loved trying the jerk sampler plate that came with chicken, fish, pork... and shrimp. The fried plantains were delicious and the fried okra was seriously the best I've ever had! (Better than grandma's -shhh, don't tell her.) So glad we got to meet Desmond while we were visiting! This place deserves way more than 5 stars. The coconut shrimp was beyond perfect, the cheese gritz were the best we ever had.... The star of the show was the sweet potato pudding. We had never had anything like it in our lives. It was sweetened and spicedperfectly. I cant put into words how wonderful this place is and how wonderful Desmond was! It is worth going out of the wayfor. Keep this chef in business and stop by for one of the best meals you can have. Read more
