We had a great time eating dinner at Taco Boy in Folly Beach! We were initially drawn in by the huge open bar, but we happily... seated in the indoor dining area. All parts of the restaurant had amazing decor that had a fun and laid back beach vibe! We allhad a different type of quesadilla, and the Quesabirria won for best flavor out of all of them! The drinks were incredible aswell. I only wish I could have tried everything on the menu! Read more

Great service! I sat at one of the bars to wait on my friends and the bartender was extremely nice and chatty. There were eight... of us, drinks and food all came out in good timing and the server was extremely friendly. My Surf & Turf, Al Pastor, Baja Fishtaco?s all were very good with a lot of flavor. We went for lunch during a weekday and the service was great. Highly recommend the tacos and the cheese dip! And the danger... sauce is really dangerous! I love spicy food and normally sauces aren't that spicy to me but this one got me. It was a greatmeal on a beautiful day. Read more

Best part was the atmosphere. Food presentation was much better than the quality. Walk up and asked for table inside, was told... would be 45-1hr. Wait. Ok. We went up to top bar and had drinks and apps. All good, hour later they sat us outside, even thoughwe asked for inside and waited?.so we politely declined, and I guess rejoined the waiting list for an inside table like weoriginally requested. About 30 min later we were sat. A bit ridiculous if you ask me. Waiter was great. Bathrooms were clean.Service and food quality were ho-hum at best. Can say I went there, but would definitely check out another place first. Read more

Great local place with outdoor seating and a rooftop bar. Queso and chips were good but some chips were very salty. The Mexican... corn was delicious. Tacos were delicious. Next time I will order flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas. Corn tortillas arenot crunchy. Not bad, just not what I was expecting. Mango salsa in the Al Pastor was very good but would have liked more. Theydo not give you free chips and salsa. Great, traditional Mexican. Very good service. Would eat here again Read more

Amazing amazing vibes. Such cool atmosphere. Right near the beach. architecture was on point. In and outdoor seating. Queso... was unbelievable. We got the trio app which was small but one of the waiters was so nice he brought us more queso free ofcharge. We all got the taco platters with rice and beans and three tacos but we were struggling to eat everything! Also a friendgot the tortilla soup and highly recommended. The firecracker shrimp, kimchi and fish tacos were so tasty. They def have a greatselection. Something for everyone. Also they served ?very crisp Pepsi? according to fellow diners. Waitstaff was super helpfuland friendly. We didn?t do drinks but they did look amazing. Will try next time ! Read more

What a cool layout! This restaurant has 3 floors and tons of seating. It's right near the beach which is a huge plus. I was... visiting with friends so can only comment on the chips, salsa, and margaritas and they were all good. Our bartender Kevin wasgreat! I would definitely go back next time I'm in town. Solid taco/Mex with low-fuss service and good food. Our two fish and shrimp tacos (one each grilled and fried) were well... seasoned if a little under-sauced (one star off). Corn tortillas made by people who understand corn tortillas. Beans and ricemuch better than average. Excellent house hot sauce. Terrific view and venue. We'll be back. Read more
