We really wanted to like our dining experience and don?t get me wrong it wasn?t bad by any means but it was mediocre. The... announcements they do seem forced, awkward at times, and very rehearsed. Chef literally read the menu item?s ingredients off ofthe menu. First, for the price of dinner it is expensive for what you get. I understand what they?re trying to achieve as a lowkey semi-fine dining restaurant but they fall short with food quality and overplay the ?chill? atmosphere vibe. 4 courses:salad was pretty good, verde soup was bland and lukewarm, burger was good, cheesecake was underwhelming (crust, if you can callit that, was extremely dry and tasted like ground graham cracker). Wine list options were not for us but everyone?sdifferent. Overall we felt the food wasn?t elevated to the level we were anticipating and for the price we would prefer to goelsewhere. Read more
Great food and experience, it's fantastic that we have a Fourk in Folsom!
It took my daughter from LA to find this gem right in the middle of Folsom hidden in a strip mall. It?s reminiscent of The... Kitchen but more affordable. The menu is set for the month with seasonal food and changes monthly. We started with a very freshand surprising salad mix followed by a very delicious soup. The managers, servers and chef came out and talked to us about therestaurant and the menus and were very entertaining. Then came our main course of a very tasty hamburger that was suveed on apretzel bun. Delicious. Our dessert was a cheesecake custard which I swore I was too full to eat but managed to lick thebottom. It only holds like 30 people so best make reservations way ahead of time. Will definitely come again. Read more
I had been looking forward to trying this place for awhile and it did not disappoint. I went on a Thursday evening with one of... my girlfriends and we had a great time. The food was amazing! Every course was delicious and the wine pairing was spot on. Thestaff was awesome. This is a great place for a date night or a dinner with friends. Love the fact that the menu changes monthly.Overall a great dining experience something that Folsom was definitely lacking. I will definitely be back. Read more

I love the experience of the monthly changing menu. It felt like a fine dining experience and for a reasonable price. They offer... happy hour before the actual seating (there is one seating time per day and everyone is served each course at the same time),highly recommend going to the happy hour to extend your time there. Staff is friendly and the food was great. They also offerwine pairings which adds to the experience. Excited to try future menus! I also recommend sitting at the bar for a more up closeexperience with the staff and seeing the food a little before it is served. Read more
Delicious food with a really cool experience.
I'm giving three stars because this place is nothing like how it's made out to be. The food was decent quality but there is not... a single thing about this place that says "fine dining" even though that is how it's being advertised. The staff drink on thejob, and it shows. They were crude and had trouble keeping track of what they were talking about, also sharing inappropriateexperiences that they have outside of work (e.g. getting drunk and swimming naked with each other). However, staff was friendlyand our server was fine. The food was....okay. Our main course was a burger with potato chips, so we were very disappointed.Not because the meal was bad, but because we were anticipating a more upscale meal. Our dinner was interuppted twice for storytime with staff. They call the attention of everyone in the restaurant. The first time, it was sort of neat. But the secondtime, it was annoying and we felt like we were being held hostage. We just wanted to pay and leave at that point. The wholeexperience took 2.5 hours. Read more
