OMG, I have eaten fish tacos at Rubios for years and loved them every time but not today 7/14/2022 12:15 PM! I ordered 3 fish... tacos to go and could not believe what they served me! Dark brown very crunchy greesy crust with barely any fish I. Ean no fishit was also dar hard and cold if I had eaten at the restaurant I would have got my money back and left forever! Went to dinner on a Friday night 5 o'clock got the original fish taco plates unfortunately we weren't even able to eat them the... batter on the fish was so thick hard and cold I couldnt even bite into it , the rice that came with the mean was crunchy andunder cooked. The tables were all dirty with salsa spilt and salt. I used to love rubios but I won't come back to this location. Read more
Love this place. This business closed in Vacaville, so when I saw it in Folsom, I chose it for dinner. Had the fish tacos... special plate which is always good. Th tacos were great. Freshly cooked and delicious. Read more
DIABETICS GET YOUR OWN DRINK I ordered online to save time and decided to have the drink filled when I got there. I arrived... quickly and my order wasn't finished which is okay. I watched the girl fill my drink with regular coke and she marked it asdiet coke. Good thing I saw! I approached her and requested a new cup and she asked why. I told her that I wanted diet coke andshe said it was. I told her I watched her put regular coke in. The regular and diet cokes are at opposite sides of the drinkmachine so there was no mistaking what i saw. I informed her that I'm diabetic and filling a drink with regular soda when thecustomer asked for diet can have severe health consequences and she seemed to not care. She didn't even give me a new cup. I hadto dump out this one and fill it with diet. I wasn't the only one to have to do that while I was in there. Please train youremployees better. Unfortunately, the last few time I?ve been here, the food hasn?t been that great. Today, they made me a Shimp burrito that took... them two minutes to put together (Record timing) and the food was pretty cold when I ate it, just within a few minutes afterreceiving it. I could tell the rice was also getting pretty stale as well. I used to come here all the time and the food wasalways great. But within the last few months of noticed a completely new change in staff, and ever since the food has not beenvery good ????. Maybe this store is under new ownership? Read more
I found what seems to be part of a tooth in my salad. Bit down on it and almost broke my own tooth. So disgusted I can barely... explain. Needless to say none of us could touch our food after this. This was after there was no dressing on my salad, itsmelled strange and there?s barely any chicken on it. I?ve always loved Rubios and the food has always been very good. Todayit just was all wrong. And the service was super slow even though there was hardly anyone there. The cashier was very nice andhelpful but the rest was not good. I?m editing the above review to say that I spoke with the manager at Rubios about the aboveincident and she handled it all very professionally and I have no doubt she?ll work with staff on improvements. Will increasemy rating to reflect that. Still love Rubios. Read more
Always super fresh and tasty food! Burritos are a bit expensive but worth it. Very clean place and plenty of elbow room. Only... negative: the music is way loud. Read more
Last minute choice- ran in order chicken taquitos ,bean and cheese burrito and 3 steak street tacos with beans and chip. $32... later and th street tacos were disgusting not sure exactly what they did wrong but bad taste and meat was way to chewy,the corntortillas used tasted awful! The chicken in the taquitos was in a mushy state, again not sure what happened to it but notlooking or tasting like chicken....the chips were stale . I did enjoy the bean burrito although I thought I was getting aregular one, instead a ginormous size 8$ basic bean cheese burrito was given....I wish I had something better to say here. Eventhe table I sat at while waiting for the order to go was sticky!! Seriously if your going to charge 14$ for 3 street tacos and asalsa container of beans- you need to give BETTER quality in your food..... Read more
