We were looking for a nice place for lunch in Historic Folsom. Classy. Wonderful aesthetic with an ocean vibe. Wonderful... service. Delicious starters and entrées. Music playing but not loud and distracting. When we walked in, we walked up to thehostess station, where the menu was displayed on an easel. Everything looked clean and maintained. Had an absolutely amazing time here! We came out for my birthday dinner, and were not disappointed. The clam chowder and crab... bisque to start were delicious. The crab bisque was hearty and a little spicy in a tomato based sauce. For our entrees, myhusband got the macadamia nut crusted halibut which was really good. Hands down though, my favorite item was the king salmonentree. It came with this incredible squash purée and mango on top…. It was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. 100/10recommend it lol. The drinks were also delicious and strong. They have this elderberry mixed drink that was light, sweet andrefreshing. Ambiance nice in old Town Folsom. Food server was engaging, attentive and genuine. Boat scallop appetizer delicious with... pomegranate sauce. Entrees of cioppino, king salmon and crab Louie salad with Boston claim chowder were underwhelming. Nothingtruly terrible, just not exceptional. Desserts of bread pudding and apple crisp, something... just ok. Would I recommend it? Sure, it is safe and you will probably enjoy it, just don't expect to be wowed. Read more

This is a fine dining place. The food is great & definitely mouth watering???? I love the jumbo prawn skewers,I forgot the... ingredients but it is so good!! Came here for the first time to take my husband out for his birthday. Made reservations on Yelp for 11:15am on a Friday which... was confirmed the night before. I noted it was my husband's birthday. When we first entered, we were welcomed and was askedwho's birthday it was and we sat right away. We LOVED the sashimi platter! It was FRESH and perfect! We also had the fish andchips which was so Crunchy and delicate at the same time. Great flavor and made well. We also ordered the Angus burger with Briecheese. It was tasty and made well! With our meal we also had wine and the specialty drink of the day. Overall it was wonderfulfood and great service, but wished they acknowledged my husband on his birthday. On our way out, we saw that there was areserved table for a birthday as well because we noticed writing on the placemats. Amazing experience, the staff was well mannered and professional. The food was excellent! The oysters and fish were so fresh you... can taste the ocean. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection and their sourdough bread is baked daily at the restaurant. Ican't wait to go back! Read more
