My boyfriend and I tried to eat at this location even though the reviews were mixed. We walked in and there were no diners. It... also appeared that there were no employees. The doorbell went off when we walked in so the employees heard us come in. We waitedfor a few minutes and no one acknowledged us or came out to help us so we left. I wasn?t even sure if anyone was there or ifthey forgot to lock up. We walked to a different restaurant instead. This location is horrible. I placed an online order with a free sandwich promo code I received via email. Shortly after, I... received a nasty voicemail from the owner. She was basically yelling and said ?if I just gave food away for free I wouldn?t havea business, you can come pick up the stuff you paid for but you cannot have the sandwich for free?. I receive these offers allthe time, how was I supposed to know that this particular location doesn?t accept them. I contacted corporate about this becausethat voicemail was uncalled for. But instead, I received a sarcastic email from the owner defending the voicemail and the wayhis wife spoke to me. He also lied and said, in caps lock, that no locations in Southern California accept offers. I know for afact that this isn?t true. Also, the last time I ate here, the employee mixed our order with another customers order. When Itold the cashier that the food in the bag wasn?t what we ordered, she told the other employee that was making the orders/handingout orders ?you gave the other people their order?. She then took the bag from me, crumbled it and tossed it on the counter. Shewas upset with us for her mistake. Dirty! Our whole family got sick after eating here. No masks by workers in this day and age. Terrible service, bbq sauces were... empty and I can?t believe you would still allow ?self serv? on these items in this day and age. You do not project a goodappearance at all. I ordered a small brisket chili, med brisket Mac and cheese, both literally only contained chili beans. They added chili beans... to my Mac and cheese and charged me for a brisket Mac and cheese. Also forgot one of my sides and my ribs have almost no meat. Ipaid 65 for my order and I feel cheated. I drove 20 min with my family for dinner and was really disappointed. Read more
The food was good, but the packaging is horrible after they made us wait for a long time. Its extremely dirty. To think fhe ribs... was requested to be plain and separate from the sauces, the containers were so messy. The food is good. Service size is decent. Read more
My first and only experience here wasn?t bad, but it wasn?t great either. I felt like the food was really, really, expensive.... The food is not that good to be charging ridiculous prices for small portions. I got the smoked chicken breast sandwich and itwas the saddest, smallest, chicken sandwich I?ve ever had and to make it worst, it was 8 dollars. When I got my food I couldn?tbelieve how small it was, I thought they were playing a joke for a second. The 8 dollar sandwich also didn?t come with any sidesat all, not even fries, how sad. I walk in and they tell me i cant order food or create a online order at 7:20 pm they close till 9pm. They lady behind the... counter very rudely said she does not honor specials online because they are texas pricing.
