Ok, I have been to this location many times. Everytime I am underwhelmed. Today took the cake. My husband did order shrimp for... me and I loved those. The chicken was different story. It was not hot, or crunchy, and tasted different, the fries were soggyand non seasoned. Plus it was served in a take out box you get from a restaurant. Yeah, this is a take out food spot,but...... I suggest they save money on these sort of boxes and the fanciful boxes printed with Louisiana Famous Fried Chickenlogo on them and serve it up like the rest of the LFFC franchises, in a picnic square bowl. This is some of the best fried chicken around town. The drive home from picking up my chicken I knew I was in for a treat. The... smell was so good my mouth was watering the whole ride home. The taste was even better. Crisp on the outside and juicy on thein, this fried chicken is awesome! Also enjoyed a side of mac n cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy which were also delicious.They also have great Buffalo chicken wings! Great little place to grab some fried shrimp, fish and/or chicken. The service is fast and courteous. It's a family run joint.... My food came out hot and fast. What I really enjoyed was that, the food was actually flavorful. The chicken, was well spiced,the shrimp had a great pop and crispness to them. The fish had a real flaky and clean flavor to it. You must try a slushy, I hadthe green apple flavor and now, I want to try all the flavors. The sides are really good as well.
